  1. I guarantee both teams could beat Silsbee.
  2. Nederland is always much better at home in the dog dome. It will be tough. Very evenly matched game. I like Nederland by 4. 62 - 58
  3. The Jags control their own destiny for a district championship! Only undefeated team left.
  4. Vidor always plays Ozen so close. They only could keep it up for a half this time but they are always hanging with them dispite not being near as talented.
  5. Several missed layups and freethrows also. Whenever they get a steal and go on a fast break they couldn't even convert. They had several 2 on 1 advantages that turned into fast breaks for Ned the other way. Also I definitely think they shot less than 50% from the charity stripe. They fix those two things plus the unforced turnovers they probably win the game.
  6. Nederland should've won by more but still a pretty good win.
  7. ha i was wondering. Vidor has the same style of play. They even give Ozen fits half the time. They could possibly upset them as well.
  8. Ozen back on track.
  9. holy cow! Thats very confusing. How good is Livingston? No one Knows!
  10. Wow HJ looking great going into district!
  11. Nederland by 17 in the third. LC-M is turning it over left and right.
  12. Unfortunately your right.... But its getting better and better each year at Nederland.
  13. I think it was Becnol. '02 I think. He was really good! LSU wanted him until he blew out his knee the beginning of his senior year. I didn't see Becnol so I can't compare the two but Weaver is the only Ned player I know that played in a NCAA National Championship for University of Houston. Well I never saw Weaver either but I know what Becnol can still do and he still is a beast. I have no idea what Weaver could do now. But I would think after 25 years that he would have slowed down a step or two. ;D I wish Nederland had more than just two players to debate. If this Nederland team wins some playoff games Hammond has to receive some consideration, and Forney is already a beast when he gets on the block and he still has to years left.
  14. They will definitely be ranked in the top 20, IMO.
  15. First off I don't even like HJ. So please don't refer to it as yall because I am in know way part of it. I just know that Jarvis is good enough to hang with Robinson and be mentioned at least in the same poll as him if he isn't better than him.
  16. Jarvis is good enough that no one can dribble circles around him. Robinson may be good but he for sure isn't that good.
  17. You mistakingly forgot Bernard. He has the best handles. Its okay. People make mistakes sometimes. ;D ;D
  18. Livingston will be much more athletic. PN-G really has one guy that goes out and attacks the basket to score (Weathersbee). You shut him down you should beat them. Even if he gets 20 though like he did against Nederland it still wasn't enough to win and probably won't be friday. Livingston by 20
  19. LC-M is always so good at home. They just never seem to do near as well on the road.
  20. Nederland by 5 in a close one.
  21. I will take Hammond over any player in the area I have seen. Now I havent seen Silsbee yet this year but out of pretty much everyone Nederland has played I think Chris was the best on the floor at hitting threes.
