Sic em Micah! Sic em! Ha ;D Honestly, though as I stated earlier in this thread, I think Neumann does a great job at Nederland and we are lucky to have him. In his nearly 20 years at NHS he has earned my trust that his decision was what he thought was best for Nederland student athletes. Just my opinion.

If he is healthy all year long, he gets it relatively easily.

We just lost both of those guys this week at the end of the Summer 2 session. I'm sure the final roster will be out soon. They don't play for another 2 1/2 months.

I think money indirectly does have a lot to do with it.

They were holding a scholarship for Brazier but apparently didn't get qualified during the summer sessions.

Can't blame Dove for doing what he thinks is best for kids. Wish them the best of luck when they are playing everyone but Nederland. :)

I am as big of a Nederland basketball fan as anyone but I don't feel Neumann is a bad AD. Nederland is successful in 90% of the sports played at the school. Not just football. Neumann is the one brought in all of those coaches. Should he have brought in a coach with BB experience? Of course. But I don't think one bad move should have got him stripped of his AD duties. He went out and got Coach E from Vidor and paid him. He has brought Nederland a long long way in his 18 years. Quite sure almost every sport has improved. Also I don't think AD/Head Coach should be separated. There is not enough money in school budgets as it is and especially not to pay an extra position. However, I strongly feel AD shouldn't have to be the football coach. Some of these coaches are not remotely qualified to do both jobs. There are several coaches that don't coach football that I feel would do a better job but they were coaching the wrong sport and never got a chance.

Definitely. Still think he should be red shirted. He will need a year or two to climb up the depth chart like most freshman. Also I think Chavis should be a DE!

No need to go back hundreds of years. It was just implied that Neumann does the same stuff over and over and my point was simply that doing the same stuff over and over is working against the indians

Nederland vs Huntsville in last years playoffs. Nederland vs Dayton in 2007. Other than Ned games, the Ozen state championship game when Perkins was there.

The line is spot on. Being the eternal optimist that I am I will take the over. But I feel we will be right around 500.
