    The selection committee is always talking about a teams whole body of work. And compare LSU with some of the last teams in the tourney and they should be in.

    I completely disagree. Just look at this year in basketball. UCONN finished 9th in their conference. They wouldn't be in the NCAA tourney with your logic. They are now national champs.

    Rice is good. But they aren't the 8th best team in the country imo. Also the 9th best SEC team (LSU) would kill the 3rd best Big East team (St Johns) 8 out of ten times.

    No way in the world St Johns is better than LSU! How did they get in over the tigers? Also Rice got a national seed? I wasn't sure they would even host a regional!

    Bottom line, I feel Lamar will need to schedule better in the next few years. Langston and Texas College (I know that's not Lamars fault) are not going to cut it for years to come. They don't help Lamar get ready for good conference teams. I would like for them to play teams that are also at least FCS. Which I think Woodard will do in the next few years.

    Hitting has been the problem the past 3 years. That's why we needed healthy pitchers to step up for us to win close games. You can't have 3 .220 hitters in the lineup and win a lot of college games.
