Two buses going to the game. A student bus and a fan bus. Would be nice to have a bunch of students go. Everyone should try to make it. It only cost $15 plus cheddars plates. Bus will leave around noon. Also I wonder if Coach Woodard and Coach Brown take a visit to their alma mater ??? My prediction is UT 101    LU 80. Think they keep it entertaining for awhile but UT will be too much.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Should be a ton of good basketball.

Oh I know they shoot as good as any team in the country. At times they get going to fast and out of control and turn it over. A lot worse than at any point last season. But it will get fixed by conference I'm sure.

Wow so in a basketball poll Nederland is ranked but kountze isn't? Never in a million years would I have thought I would see that. Not sure Nederland should be there yet. And kountze has to be one of the best 25 teams even if it is a down year.

On the bright side, its a win and they didn't score 100! I'll take it as a sign of improvement!

Still a little sloppy at times from what I heard. Couldn't make this one but it sounds like they are improving.

Yes HJ was the better team for 30 minutes in the JV game. They should have won in regulation. But anything can happen and they let their foot off the petal for just a secon and it was enough for Big Ned. The varsity game was played hard by both teams Ned just had to much depth for HJ. The press just wasn't forcing the turnovers it needs too for HJ to win. I think they will have much better luck with 3A opponents who won't have as much depth.

La Marque and Yates will be fighting it out for region 3.

Look, I don't care about anyones history or whatever. I'm just saying based off tonight, the one time I have seen them this year, they are not good enough to compete for a trip to Austin. That's my opinion. Maybe these hurt players I keep hearing about will make a big difference but I really don't think they will be enough. I think Silsbee will take the district and HJ will lose in the regional semis or before. Sorry to hurt anyones feelings but they didn't look good to me tonight.

Great win dogs. Played well for so early in the season. HJ will be fine this year. Not sure how good the hurt players are but I don't think they are good enough for state though.

I thought this game was today, but HJ Ned thread threw me off.

2 years ago when I thought HJ would win by 20, Ned won by a lot. Last year when I thought Ned would win, HJ won by a lot. But I don't have a feeling either way so who knows what will happen.
