1. I think a lot of it has to do with entry standards and the degrees people get. Lamar graduates a lot of engineers who make lots of money.
2. I would attend all of them!
3. I like the head idea. Let's get that started! Also we need some type of ultimate tailgate party too.
4. Don't give up on them yet baseball 25. I think if they can keep winning some weekend series like they have the past two weeks the can make plenty of ground.
5. Of course we all do. But you know what I mean.
6. Ford pitched amazing tonight. Hope he keeps that up. He could be huge for us the rest of the conference season.
7. Way to bounce back and win game 2! 10 to 0!
8. Keep it up dogs!
9. If he can recruit 15 players better than the worse 15 on the team then that's what he will recruit.......
10. Salinas got hurt in the 1st inning running to first. Not sure how serious. Need more pitching depth.
11. 8 to 5 pan am in the 6th. Bullpen depth is seriously lacking.
12. She kind of reminds me of Coy Custer. He was so weak his freshman year but has gotten much tougher. Dani will get a lot better before next year for sure. Hopefully another freshman will come in and help her out down low though.
13.

Everyone from WOS is going to say that WOS will be great, and will take the District with ease.  But deep down everyone has that little voice in their mind saying.....Boy, I hope Silsbee doesnt put it to us again.  Three teams.....Silsbee, WOS, Bridge City. Its going to be a fun year to watch.
i dont think silsbee "put it to us" last year.. they won no doubt, but saying they "put it to us" is a little far fetched.
Bottom line....every player, every coach, and every fan remembers a loss.  Any team (who has been on top for so long) gets beat....they can no longer say, "We are unbeatable!"  They can say it, but the fear of it happening again will linger...for a long time. Every player, every coach, and every fan that follows the team who won against a WOS type of team.....now knows that they can win.  Once you know you can win....Its time to make it happen again!
Good int. Winning is contagious. The first win is always the hardest one. Just ask the Astros right now.
14. They have a really bad lineup especially when you take Berkman out of it IMO. Plus the back end of their rotation is pretty sub par. They need to dump some payroll and get younger. Lee, Berkman, and Blum if you find someone to take him. I think you wait another year to get rid of Roy O.
15. I think WOS takes back the district crown. Silsbee should still be the 2 seed out of that district though. And I like Bridge City to grab 3rd playoff spot.
16. 1. PNG 2. Central 3. Nederland 4. LCM 5. Ozen 6. Livingston 7. Lumberton 8. Vidor PNG Central and Nederland get in pretty easy. LCM ozen and Livingston fight for the 4th spot.
17. Yes I meant the last 15 innings. Which is every game but the PNG game that he struggled mightily. But he has his command back now. I can't wait for Tuesday so we can get revenge!
18. Bellow has given up something like 0 runs 2 hits and over 20 K's. Very impressive. Keep rolling Tuesday dogs. Its a big one.
19. Best player? In the area? Far from. He had one great game and was suspended half the season. PA Memorial had 2 D1 commits. I would for sure take Bray or Walker over him. No offense to Frank. He is good. Those others are just better.
20. Congrats and good luck. Go in with a good attitude and hopefully transfer to a D1.
21. Should get a nice paycheck from that one!
22. Wasn't this game last night? Or did I miss something?
23.
If Roc signs these two guys then either some of the earlier commitments are not coming and/or some guys from this year's team won't be on the team next year.  Nabors, Hall and Nwevo all graduated, we know that for sure.  Lynch, Kyser, Smith and Harris were the early commits so are they all still coming to Lamar?  And there's the two redshirt freshmen from Pflugerville, will they be on the team next year?  And finally there's the PG from Arizona (Nuno) who had citizenship problems and couldn't come to Lamar, but ESPN still has him coming next year.  Looks like a lot of changes to the roster for next year (which probably isn't a bad thing).
This puts LU at 7 new recruits. 3 seniors leaving means 4 others have to go. Not sure who would be the ones to leave but my guess is Dante Lopez just sticks with football only. We have several new guards coming in that would probably put him at the bottom of the depth chart and football playing real games now I don't see him back. Also I dont look for Justin Carter to be back. He has been on the bench for 2 years now. I dont see him ever playing... That would leave 2 roster spots for people to fight for. And when players are fighting for a spot the practices seem to be a lot more competitive and thats how you get better.
