Png is at home and that is a big factor. If PNG doesnt change something up in that secondary then Gonzales is going to eat them up. I think it will be a high scoring game but I have to give the edge to PNG with the home field advantage.

The Dogs playoff chances are on life support and it looks like they will have to run the table and get a little help to get in. I look for the Dogs to come out swinging this Friday at home and get a win. It should be a good one.

With only a minute left, it was absolutely the right decision even with Peyton Manning at QB. A turnover or a couple of incompletions and you are punting from your endzone. Looks like he knew what he was doing. [/quote] We will just have to disagree on that one. If you lose in OT then it was not the right decision. You still had 2 time outs and had been passing the ball at will on Ozen's D. You have a kicker with range.

What a slap in the face to the best QB in the district. Why would he opt for overtime when Ozen had chewed the  PNG defense up all night. As far as Ozen goes, they played their hearts out and the QB is a flat out stud. But I will say this, if my kid played for Ozen I would be livid. How can a head coach allow a team to get three delay of game penalties that late in the game at a critical time. UNBELIEVABLE! With that being said, both teams really fought hard in this on and it was a good game by both teams. Oh yea, I just love the pooch kick. That seems to be working real well for PNG.

The Dogs played good enough to win tonight. Hats off to the jags for overcoming the turnovers and pulling out the W. I cant say enough about the Dogs defense tonight staying on the field most of the game and keeping us in the game. 5 sophs and 5 juniors on the D, we will be around for a while. Hats off to the sophmore QB for central, He showed alot of poise and came back slingin the ball after the late INT. As for the guy who said Heard is all Central has, well he is a clown. This is two weeks in a row the Dogs defense has stepped up to the plate but the team came up short. As for all the predictions of a jag blowout, well that just didnt happen. Good game played by both teams. BTW......You know what they say about the prevent defense.....It prevents you from winning.

This game will come down to the play of our QB. If he throws right into the defenders hands then we will lose. If he has a game like he did against PNG, then I think we will surprise alot of people. I truly think it will be alot closer than the last few years against the jags. Nevertheless, I hope the dogs come out swinging, This is a critical game for the Dogs playoff hopes.

Oh yea, it was the event of the year. We sat around drinking smitty's kool aid all night. He finally admitted to everyone it was mushroom tea and that he drinks it before he makes every post. The best part was Basebow finally got to give smitty a big congratulatory hug in the parking lot. Congrats smitty.......You worked hard for this one
