2. The jags will roll at the Babe.... They are coming off of 2 tough losses and that will only add fuel to their fire.. GCM is just happy to be in the playoffs in their first year. Jags 48 GCM 12
 3.
He finished the season last year he didnt wanna play again because at our schoool you cant go from football to baseball you are in football all year and baseball only after school so he took a year off to pursue his goal in baseball... but he stiil wants to play baseball in college but would like to play football also
First thing I would do is yank him out of that school for not letting a kid play both. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life... Some ADs need to have their heads examined.  :-\ What school is this?
 4. Sorry Vidor, it was a good season, Oh well at least the kids will get to ride on a chartered bus this Saturday.....Dayton 48 Vidor 21
 5. Just goes to show you that these state wide rankings are a joke....These writers only know their area. There is no way they can come up with an accurate ranking.
 6.

9th grade: Nederland   28 Lumberton  16 This gives Nederland the district title with a 7-0 district record
Put that Nederland freshman team with the current sophomore group and folks in 204A gonna be in trouble.
Bru, you are right....I see good things happening in the Dogs very near future. Congratulations to the boys and coaches on the fine season.
 7.
Nederland has always had a faithful and spirited fan base (as evidenced in this thread). The team seems to be down this year I guess because of injuries. But I'm glad Nederland is doing better as of late, it will make for a better game with Lumberton. Lumberton did not play well against PNG, that is an under statement as they were never in the game from the start. They played a conservative game against LCM last week, but they took care of business and did what they had to do for the win. Lumberton has 8 very good receivers and the QB uses them all. The QB runs very well and much better than Nederland's. The RBs have more depth now than the beginning of the year with the emergence of McDonald. The O line is back and healthy. The run defense is solid, they have three starters back healthy after getting hurt in the Livingston game.  Nederland should expect a swarm of blitzes led by the beast, Anthony Beard. The defensive secondary is ready for the one on one pass defense that goes with the blitz. If Lumberton limits their penalties and turnovers, they will win by 13 points. All said, I expect a very exciting game and what a way to end the regular season! Go Raiders.
Wow, you would think they would have a better record than 2-4 in the district and not hanging by a thread needing a win and some help to get in.. You are dillusional pal
 8. Gotta be Lord Faircloth IF he beats Central and goes a few rounds deep.
 9.
Why hasn't he been in the QB mix from the start?  He played QB for Nederland in middle school and in 9th grade and he was awesome.  He was a much better QB IMO than the other Nederland QBs including the chosen one.  Yeah it points to a lot of different problems with Nederland including coaching. That's my dig.
Forney has been hurt.....and you do not bench a 2 year starter.

The Barber's Hill thread is 25 pages long whereas the Central thread barely has 16 pages. The Eagle fans are just looking for something to keep themselves entertained because they're off this week. Let's just let the Indians settle this one on the field (for the third time in two years ;D)... or at least wait until Saturday....
Sound like someone knows central is gonna beat yall
Not quite. I just like to beat teams the same way we've beaten all the teams we've faced so far this year: focusing on one game at a time. Luckily, the coaches follow that principle, although I can't say the same for many of our fans.
What difference does it make if the fans on a message board focus on a game or a bowl of ice cream. It will not make a difference in the outcome of any game. Are you serious?

I know you will BHFAN , its some of the others that have come out of nowhere(we have some also) that will be MIA if PNG wins.
Oh I'll show ;D Crow is a regular part of my balanced diet during football season ;D After our first game the Real PNG fans came back and showed much class giving props to BH on a good game. I expect the same from us when we beat you ;D ;D (I couldn't help myself). It's going to be a great game and atmoshphere if this game happens! I've always injoyed watching and BH playing the Indians. BH football players also spoke well of PNG.
Gotcha!

They might be a the Div 4 team but they are going to be Div 1 20-4a team. and all of your indian fans will cry on the way home.
I cant beleive Barbers Hill lets the special ED kids go on the interned during constuction paper activities... 14. Just did some projections..... PNG playoff path to semi finals: Bi-district--------Barbers Hill Area-------------Brenham Regional----------Angleton Quarter Finals-----Dayton? Central Jags playoff path to semi finals Bi-district--------Goose Creek Memorial Area-------------Huntsville Regional----------Friendswood Quarter Finals-----Nederland (I just had to do it)
 15.
district 20-aaaa uses a 21 point cap
I thought it was a 16 pt cap..... WOS Grad, if it is 21 points how much does that change the differentials?
 16. Are you kidding me, the Dogs are taking no one lightly....They are swinging hard with their backs against the wall.
 17. What do they know, they picked Vidor to win district.    ???
 18. Truth is, PNG will have their hands full this Friday....Central coming off a loss, last game ever at The Babe ,and I think this will be the best Defense PNG has faced all year...Im am sure Central knows they will have thier hands full as well.  Should be a battle. The question is, will either team be pulling starters in a close game to avoid injuries? I will never forget watching Troy Summerall get hurt for no reason in the fourth quarter in a bi-district game that Nederland had control of in the fourth quarter. He was hampered by that injury for the rest of the playoffs and it hurt the Dogs. District championships make for pretty shirts but we all know its all about the playoffs. Good luck to both teams...

Last night Dionte looked as if he has been at the QB position all year. Great poise in the pocket. He is very stong and accurate with his passes. He is still learning the offense and will continue to improve. The defense is playing much better and are laying some licks. Lumberton will have to score 35 to beat the Dogs in this one. Prediction Nederland 31 Lumberton 24
couldnt they beat them with 32 then?
New Prediction Nederland 34 Lumberton 24  :)
 20.
I can tell you one thing.  This game will start at 7:30.  It will end at 8:30!  ;D
Good stuff  :D

 22.
Face it every team out there could say "who have they played".  Its not about who they have played but how they play on a particular night like tonight.  Joesbros is right, we put up a solid 4 quarters on both sides of the ball last Friday.  I look for this team to that again this week and in the process, take the dogs to the local dog pound to be locked up.  Go Pirates!!!!! :)
HA HA......What a Gomer
 23.
No problem, the Pirates will take the dogs down tonight as Coach Matthews has them ready.  Wet field or not. 8)
I think (no, I know) it will be a good hard fought, hard hitting game.... Cant wait...
