1. Great comeback HJ. Great win Silsbee. Difference in the game: FTs: HJ 11-31 Silsbee 8-16
 2. 59-56 Silsbee. Made 1/2 court shot at the buzzer!
 3. He made 'em both. Lazeek just said he was 0-8 before those FTs. Bosha now makes two FTs. Tied at 56. 19.5 sec remain. HJ ball. HJ on a 27-2 run.
 4.
Good win LCM.........looking forward to next Fri nite.!!!
If Ned plays like we did against Lumberton, LCM will win the game next Friday night.
 5. HJ has to work on their FTs if they want to make a deep playoff run. 30% is not gonna cut it!
 6. Gaines prob has 10 steals in the 3rd Q alone!
 7. Final: Ned 37 Lumberton 24 I understand it's hard to be 'up' for every game, but nobody is going to hand you the 'W' for simply showing up!  :-\
 8.
4th quarter and fouls will be the deciding factor in this one.
Could be. Prudhomme still have 2? If he fouls out, watch out.
 9. A little breathing room. 3:30 remain Ned 33 Lum 24 :41 secs remain...same score.  ???
 10.
Silsbee isnt a good 3 point shooting team
Then why have they shot 10 3s already?
 11. Silsbee can't buy a three. Don't think they've made one yet.
 12. Dawgs are still celebrating the Central victory when they should be focused on the current game. They better wake up!!

 14.
I got a call last night from the Humble area last night. He happen to mention in the conversation Nederland beat Humble last year in playoffs. Would Nederland face an opponent in the same district as Humble this year?
The 1st round game for all 20-4A teams will be against a team from the district that consists of BH, Crosby, GCM, CEKing. Ned beat Humble last year in the 3rd round by 1 or 2 points. That is the same round that Kingwood Park beat Ozen to make it to the regional tourney. Will prob be the 3rd round again before our district plays theirs.

Mitchell and K. Smith) to be in the best positions to do damage on set plays.  Smith is a good 3 point shooter.  Get him an open 3 point look off an off the ball screen. If they play it too tight, he'll drive in and finish at the cup.    Get Mitchell a good look off a quick curl for a midrange jumper.  If they overpersue, he can also finish at the cup in traffic.  If we want to beat Nederland in the second meeting and make a nice playoff run, these are things that we need to work on for the next few weeks, IMO.
As a Nederland graduate from 20 or so years ago, it still shocks me what Brian English has done here.  I never thought I would see the day when Central would be talking about being able to compete with Nederland and hopefully beating them in the next game.  Huge reversal of fortune.
Agree, anyone know the district records of recent years?
For Nederland: 2011-12 4-0 2010-11 14-0 2009-10 12-2 2008-09 10-4
 16.
Just heard a rumor that Dickie Vitale was in attendance at the game. Why wasn't his picture taken with Aggie?
I spoke to him for a while. Nice guy.
Yes.  True.  He did it at Vidor and he is doing it here.  I gave you guys heck the last 2 years stating that the players are good as you have the Cunningham, Forney, Smith 3 headed monster.  Now, this team is getting it done by better coaching since this team isn't near as talented as last year's team.  English have had my respect for several years now.
Soulja do u even no where coach English play college ball @
I realize this is not relevant to this topic, but FYI, he played at Lee College in Baytown and at Wharton County JC. Then he tried out at aTm. He made it to the final cut of 4 or 5, and they only selected one person to make the team.
 18.
I am like Kirk Herbsteet.  I am broadcasting the game, therefore I can't give a prediction!!!
Oh, gotcha. That's exactly what he would say, you are correct!  ;D
 19. Central should have fouled them, yes. However, Central was trying to force a turnover, so I think credit should be given to the Ned kids for passing the ball back and forth, dribbling, etc. without turning it over. They were very patient and disciplined.
 20.
Team that scores the most points on Friday night will win!!! :P :P
Weak!!  ::)
 21.
Nederland deserve all the credit.  Another point of the game that I failed to mention. Within 2 minutes, when do we realize that you have to foul and you can't let them play keep away.  There were a lot of times where J. Rogers from Nederland had the ball late.  You foul him as it appears that he  is the worst of the starting Nederland free throw shooters (or foul SOMEBODY for that matter).  I assume that our staff didn't see that we were losing by double digits with under 2 minutes left.  How could that have been missed?
I was wondering that too. I was sitting next to a few Central supporters, and they were asking the same thing. Seems like the coach just gave up with plenty of time for something to happen.
