Beginning of second quarter, nederland up 11-10. Both seem struggling offensively.

Is BH gonna be better than last years team? Seems like i remember them being young last yr?

Silsbee should not have any problems with their 1st 3 opponents, IMO. The Ozen game should be good, but Ozen is still playing FB this week, so they may have 3-4 players with only a week or two of pratice.

I will be at the St. Pius @ Nederland game Tuesday and Nederlan @ HJ the following Monday. Should be two great games!

[/quote] I think the Dove has always been impressed by great recruiters.  What is odd is that he has no problem with type of overt "stacking of the deck" but is always saying how so many in our economy don't get a fair chance. [/quote] It's kinda like a company hiring a lot of smart/creative business minded employees to maximize profit... So Dove finds that to be wrong but thinks (illegaly) recruiting HS kids to make a team better is ok??? I'm very confused???

The point that I am trying to make is that these issues should be addressed earlier in middle school. The coach who I was referring to has been coaching@ CO  wilson middle school for more than 40 years.
