[/quote]Since the rankings are not comparing apples to apples, they should be based on the 'eyeball' method rather than wins/losses, IMO. Hard to do when there are so many teams to watch for consideration of the rankings. Nobody has seen Crosby or Humble play more than one game a piece, yet their number of wins place them high in the rankings since they were both 15-1 in district. I guess Crosby is ahead of Humbe bc they won the coin flip for the 1st seed! ;D Humble won at Crosby early in district. Crosby won at Humble late in district, so Crosby is AHEAD by two spots. Ozen won at Ned early in district. Ned won at Ozen late in district, however Ned is two spots BEHIND Ozen. Ned also beat Silsbee twice, yet Silsbee is ahead of Ned. Also , HJ beat Ned, yet HJ is behind Ned in the rankings. They don't always make sense, but I realize they are just opinions. Kelly will never have a chance to prove they are better than the other schools bc they won't play this year. Again, way too hard to compare apples to oranges. Now that the playoffs are here, everyone has a chance to prove how good they really are! 8)

KW Park has a new coach, and they are a different team this year. It's not the same team that gave Yates a scare last year. King is decent. I predicted they would be a playoff team after the Bulldog Classic, but Central should beat them by 15-20.

They've been solid in 4A ever since they moved down. Ned knocked them out two years ago, and Ozen knocked them out last year. They are very talented. It will be a good matchup for sure. Ned by 5. Is Collins the same kid from last year who was their best player or did that guard graduate? I think he wore jersey #1??

Big Ned finished 3rd in 20-4A and will face the 19-4A Co-District champs Humble Wildcats in Bi-District. Ned finished the season 25-9 and 11-3 in 20-4A while Humble finished 28-8 and 15-1. Game will be played Tuesday night at 7:30 at East Chambers HS.

For at least the next two seasons, they will likely be the best team in SETX, so they will make for a good measuring stick, IMO.

Last I checked, you earn respect by winning, right? Central has won district two years straight, so they have DESERVED the respect, IMO. They are the real deal, and should be the measuring stick for SETX. They will probably win district the next two years, but I suspect they will lose a game or two each year, so they will not dominate 20-4A. Ned has a problem of not following their shots and if it gets down low, they sit at the 3 point line and watch, none will crash the boards. Hope they figure it out before they play another taller, more athletic team (like Central) in the playoffs. Good luck to both teams! [/quote]There is a good possibility these two team's will meet up again in two weeks. Hopefully coach English will have time to address the challenges of the triangle in two. Landry helped us stay in the game, but someone else needs to hit some shots from outside as well.

[/quote] Most of those blocked shots were from our players closing out on 3 point shots. [/quote]Yep. You can't shoot set shots (unless U shoot from 22' like Landry did) against teams like Central.

Central had a good game plan by taking English and Weisbrod out of the game. I think they had 8 points combined. Jacob Landry kept us in the game with his 4-3 pointers. He finished with a team high 14. Jags must have had 10 blocks on the night!
