Well, I hope we win. We're defiantly talented enough to win, but it's hard to predict this one since WB beat us already and since this is a big rivalry game. West Brook have the tools to beat us with of course Zeno, but Hatnot did us in at their place. I do think Central's gotten better since then. I think free throws will be the key. If we can make these free throws, I love our chances...
If Zeno goes to the block and help with the boards, him and Hadnot might give Central a run for their money. Hadnot is going to do his thing anyways.
WB is just as talented, IMO. They have a very good PG/SG in Jordan Green. Zeno is their most talented player, but Hadnot has been their most consistent player in the games I've watched. I've seen 5 WB games this year, and I've noticed they force way too many shots. If they can fix this issue and be more patient on offense, I think they can be dangerous. -

Too many weapons and too deep for WB.
West Brook beat Central earlier in the year. Central wasn't too talented and too deep then. ;)
These team's have gone separate ways since then, IMO. -
You are so right Dogfan. None of those boys had any basketball skills to help the team anyway according to some. I personally just don't understand why your best player, his dad and the head coach were so upset this am. Go figure.
Why so sensitive Husker? I'm sure they became upset bc they wanted these two kids to be as passionate about basketball as them. They want to win, and they believe these two kids would help the team do that. They recognize the need for another Big, so when they didnt show this morning, they were upset about it. Why get caught up with a couple of people's opinion about the role or skills of the these 2 young men. They could be a true asset to this team, but they have chosen to not be. Has coach English or any other player ever mentioned them not having basketball skills? I have actually heard the opposite. I hear they both improved quite a bit since last year, and they were looking forward to them joining the team. These people who claim these kids don't have bball skills; Are they basketball experts? I highly doubt it. The team WILL move on with or without your support. Kimler will step up and play the role of a Big, and Shaw already showed his speed will cause havoc for opposing guards. Go Dawgs!

An early morning practice was scheduled to help with the learning curve for the FB kids. Two kids showed up excited, and the other two didn't show. If they don't want to be a part of the team, then so be it. Kimler and Shaw will attribute plenty to the team.

If the Ned team who played against WB (2nd time), CE King, and St. Pious shows up, then Ned wins Friday. If the Ned team shows up like they did against HJ, The Village, and PAM, then Silsbee wins. Ned has been Jeckyl and Hyde this year. Their have great potential, but don't always play up to it. Either way, it should be a good one. Go Dawgs!
What you mean which Nederland Team shows up, lol !!! Every team is one team, all depends on there competition and if they can handle the other teams pressure . You talking like if your favorite Nederland team shows up, they can win every game. Lol
Anyone who has followed them all season feels the same. Do you not feel the same about Silsbee? Silsbee has been inconsistent this year too. I realize it's bc of missing FB players, but you think bc they had one good game since they have returned that they will beat Ned by 10? Apparently you think highly of your team like I do mine, and that's ok. ;) The difference is: I respect your team.

P.A. Memorial?
It's pretty simple: PAM beat The Village recently, who turned around a few hours later and beat Nederland. :-\
Not so simple now i guess??
Touché! ;D Nederland has the better team between these schools, but going into this game, I understand why RCS/Jim Hicks predicted a Titan victory last night. Based on what happened this past weekend, it was a legitimate prediction for someone who did not watch Ned and Memorial's games they played at The Bulldog Classic. Another poor shooting night for the Dawgs, but somehow they found a way to win. :)
