I don't follow baseball much, but I believe Ned baseball has made the state tourney 2-3 times, and played in the Title game once. People think of Nederland and football, but this past Fall was the 1st District Title since the mid 60's? Maybe BadDog can confirm those stats?

I can tell you exactly why he got tossed. Taunting! It was his 2nd Tech of the game, so that's why he went to the locker room early. Some people just don't have the discipline to make a great play then just keep playing the game. There is no room for taunting in sports.

Now that the topic is on the table, I will predict at least 2 playoff victories. 3 (wins) would send us back to the regional tourney, which I honestly would not be completely surprised if that happens. I know many of you would be surprised, but not me.  8)

I am not disregarding what Boutte did during his time, it was amazing. Nobody on this thread has said differently. But during his ONE down year, VIDOR swept them 3-0. For the 4th time, the kind of talent Ozen has now was just the same in 2004, when Coach E's team went 3-0 against Boutte. The same would happen with this Ozen team.
