i think one day that smalley will be an excellent head coach..one of my favorite coaches ever, relates well with everyone..but i think he likes where he is right now so idk. and yes he's the big 3-0...lol remind him every day...hes 30

if the kids could vote it would be unanimous..tb for ad. cut and dry he knows the kids and knows how to get the most out of them, the kids would really rally around him. hes well known by the student body and would build up more than just football. i say lets keep it "in house" this time around and hire inside the program. yall are right he doesnt have head coaching experience..but sooner or later you gotta give someone a shot, its not like these other guys were born ad's. bc seems to normally go to the coach w/ the most experience...but if im not mistaken after our 0-10 season in '99 todd dodge applied here and was turned down for that reason..how did that work out for us?? hey dave i know you didnt say that bc sucks right?? i dont know if you realize that going to state two years in a row..constantly reloading, beating the best teams in the area/state, sending kids year after year to d1 programs, not losing a district game in 6 years (which includes beating the crap out of h-j repeatedly) qualifies you as a good team.

again..state basketball or state golf maybe...but not state baseball..

if im not mistaken mills ran all over the ofield d to really put it away...see my post in the 21-3a picks thread to see my opinion on this

look at who got the most all district picks...all three made the playoffs and followed by the 4th place team bc and then so on. our coaches tell us every year that if you are a true team then individual accolades will take care of themselves, and that the teams that make the playoffs and the team that wins district normally gets most of the picks and then so on down the line as teams records are worse and worse. it might not be right in this case because i think ramsey is way past worthy of recognition, but dishon was the man for bc, w/out him we might be 2-8, and has to have his name somewhere on that list. imo hes deffinately in that first team secondary. and i think david blackshear is one of the top d-lineman in the district. but we didnt get the job done and to all those snubs out there like it or not this is how it goes
