  1. im expecting one fired up team from the lakes..i know 23-0 in the playoffs is still pretty sour in their mouths. but whoever bc puts our there, they will be ready to play, injured or not. inside card doesnt seem very inside to me...
  2. amen...yea that bolton kid just needed to walk it off lol 8)
  3. they're not big...they're huge
  4. ofield by atleast 10....those guys are playing better each week and are about to open some eyes
  5. silsbee was by far the better team. they had everything a coaching staff could ask for. tall athletic receivers that could run and catch and block. good fast backs, the line speaks for itself...and i think the most important thing that most 3a teams lack and that is depth. they had their huge d-line in for first and second down and on third and long they would run on their smaller/quicker d-linemen for pass rush
  6. they were big...they were fast...they were big and fast...did i mention they were fast...they wore us out tonight i think...counted about 7 or 8 starters out tonight...if we can get full strength...we have the chance to be good..but untill then every weeks a battle.
  7. kvilleballa...did anyone from there go to the westbrook combine this spring and run the 40? just checkin cuz our slow poke quarterback happened to tie for the fastest guy out of anyone there....on grass. you can have all the speed you want...if you dont have the talent up front, you wont get to showcase it
  8. i loved the field, prolly the best real turf i've played on...im sure the home side was great, but silsbee has a heck of a walk from their locker room on home games...im sure its a long walk in from a loss or from a first half going up that hill lol. locker rooms are nice too
  9. i think ofield did an awesome job...they were several plays away from tieing it up...
  10. i really think the loser of this is in a bind as far as making the playoffs..and the winner may not be automatically in, but they need to beat who they're supposed to beat and get in healthy. i think in this district you really cant afford a loss early. i think the people still in contention are wo-s kville silsbee ofield bc and jasper. this is gonna be a huge game in terms of confidence, conditioning, and TEAM unity. props to ya "i tell it like it is" for ...telling it ...like it is lol
  11. and the rest of the team too much speed for our defense? thats our strength is speed..its not size. healthy or not he accounted for 200 yards of offense and two td's on that ankle...im never doubting him again
  12. no i never said that...we had 5 or 6 three year starters on that d last year..you're right they were pretty dang good. but we're getting there, every week. for us its a matter of eliminating mistakes, and getting healthy
  13. do you want to tell me why we should have lost to kelly and hj?? i dont think you're supposed to lose to anyone if your defense shuts them out. we did give hj some opportunities w/ some turnovers by our own goaline where they only had to go between 15 to 10 yards for a td, but in no way were they supposed to beat us. and the eye in the sky doesnt lie...that was a forward pass that hit the ground that the refs didnt blow it dead on and they ran it to the 1. our defense is starting to gel as a unit and we held one of the better rb's in the area to right at 100 yards and he was basically their offense. you can "coulda shoulda woulda " bc to death but you cant argue w/ wins in the 4th quarter. bc - silsbee will be a battle.
  14. troy bolton bc. 5 catches 89 yards and 2 td's for bc's stagnant passing game
  15. yea that was a blown call...the ref that persuaded the other refs that it was a "lateral " was the line judge on the other side of the field..how can it be a lateral on a 0 yard route when the qb is in the gun 4 yards back?? second home game in a row something like this has happened....i guess we hire the worst we can find. and dont forget about #15 he spells redemption S-I-X as in 6 points. we completed 7 for 127 or something like that and 2 td's
  16. 2nd week in a row DEFENSE has stepped it up. h-j's SOPHOMORE tailback is a stud watch out 21-3a. tonight was tough but we pulled it out. dishon is a man ladies and gentleman..all that work on one ankle basically. no more doggin the bc receievers or passing game..i think we completed around 10 or so tonight. hey matt..are you talking about the pink ones w/ the blue pokadots?? shut your mouth..we wear the same stuff every other school has...
  17. cody mills..bc we didnt have dishon and he stepped it up on 4th and short to ice it
  18. any more news on gilbert moye?? he could certainly help jasper turn the season around..how receptive do yall think the rest of the team will be to him?
  19. 2nd leading passer from a year ago lead his team to zero points and just 90 yards passing last night....and no offense but i dont know that much about h-j but not too sure if their passing game is as good as anyones we've played and we stepped it up against the run last night.
  20. never said lumberton was the cakewalk...
  21. tight one...bc has no cakewalks left on our schedule..the ones we did have we made them squeekers. our games are going to be close from here on out. unless we get it together and run on all cylinders like i think we're capable
  22. yes im sure, when you make up words like "thwaked" like this is a comic book or something, or when you say stuff like "well cardinals its hard to gain much yardage w/ so many penalties" or "well we hope our fine feathered friend is ok" all night i think he has the crown of idiot imo
  23. defense really stepped it up tonight...kelly o didnt score, they scored on special teams. seems that whoever we play is going to have a good plan to stop johnny. we need diversity or we will NOT make the playoffs..and thats a fact. thought kelly players were pretty classless at times..in particular #54. and wo-s announcer is replaced by kelly's as the worst i've ever heard...this guy was horrible..feels great to get a win though, and even better to win in the 4th quarter without dishon...something a lot of people thought we couldnt do.
  24. hes the most conditioned player on the team, and hes clearly the best so why not have him on the field?? i agree w/ the fact that mills might need more touches, and trust me he'll get his. but to say "hey bc should save dishon for just offense" is a crock of bull. plenty of guys are their teams best player and start both ways..earl thomas starts both ways for wo-s...do you think they're gonna rant and rave to coach hooks to let his best player rest?? dont think so, hes gonna be on the field where he makes plays and makes a difference. not holding a towel on the bench. get a grip. but i'll say it again that mills has done a nice job and can carry a heavier load.
