dustin long..from bc its bryan bock, willie ray smith award winner good player. i think a hs qb HAS TO be able to run, a lot of the hs game is running not just pocket passing so i have to say beasley too but ryan crouch from wos could throw the ball around too

hf has a lot of good food

our coaching staff does a great job of getting us prepared and keeping us in shape and disciplined, but i think the best coaches or the ones who get the most out of their players are the ones with a little fire in them, the ones who get excited in the locker room, or the ones who run sprints in practice (joe paterno), stuff like that is great. coach barnett and his staff have to be in this conversation too.

hamrick joined the coast gaurd and is in alaska, hes a good friend of the family and my brothers best friend. i heard it after that game

of, anahuac, hf ...but hf makes up for it w/ their food, bc does have too many bugs but its just to keep our legs warm but i wish we could do something about our grass, if you've played on it youd notice its about ankle deep....too bad we dont start our season in may and play till august because once we play one game on that field our bermuda turns brown, its like clockwork.

its not a rivalry if you get outscored 185-20 in six years....bc/of is no rivalry its just a short drive.

as far as the field goes i think every player wants to play in silsbee..i feel like im at augusta national on that field..well maybe not but its plush always, it was that way at our freezing playoff game. also we're looking forward to playing on kelly's field turf if that is true.

all 8 teams left in 3a playoff bracket had a 1st round bye. i guess upsets are more common in football.

so what exactly happened? why did he point at the umpire and why was it so bad that police had to be involved? was he actually going to get physical w/ the umpire?

i thought we looked pretty good, angelle looked like himself after the first inning, the defense was solid (dishon ran a mile to catch that ball in the first), we didnt have our usual power offense but we hit the ball enough and small balled them to force mistakes which the #1 team should do. columbus was a decent team, janak looked ok keeping us off balance a little bit but it was only a matter of time before we got to him. but i think columbus was represented poorly by #3, the kid should have been tossed about three times arguing w/ the 1st base umpire twice and pushing scales in the chest. deer parks facilities were top of the line.

they use them for different types of surfaces. the screw ins come in different lengths for more traction for grass or a muddy field. the clear plastic kind w/ all the little cleats are more for field turf like at texas stadium. i prefer the clear plastic, they give you more overall coverage, you can use them on any suface except old astro-turf, and they just look better

hes done fine all year up untill last week. so really it was just a hiccup and he'll move on. hes one of if not the hardest worker on the team, and he loves to get better. he'll be fine, and it helps to have senior leadership out of angelle to lay the law down, and give advice during games.

well i guess im eating my words big time on this one.... i thought maybe we'd be in a little trouble w/ haymond considering how they touched angelle. but not enough to make me think that we would lose much less by 10 runs! sounds like the bh kids can hit, and w/ it being a young team they'll be hitting for a while. im at a loss for words. not commenting on tomorrows game just for superstition sake. congrats bh on a big win.
