neither...hj or silsbee will get third...i really think the rankings of who gets 1 2 and 3 are a little pre-mature, i think the three that get in in no particular order are jasper hj or silsbee and bc...its too close to call in december and if you even GET IN out of this district you should be happy because you stand a chance against anyone in the playoffs

wos also lost in the state title game in 2000...bc lost in the semis 2001, and had several great runs. but i'd have to say png was actually the closest in 99 because it was an 8 point loss i believe to stephenville...16-8

i cant think of a time in the post season when anyone stole a base on casey, he hosed about 4-5 guys...and to me that sticks out more than what happened at lamar, the bad..its obvious it got in his head against jasper, besides that he only had one big mistake and that was a dropped ball on a play at the plate against needville, but no one remembers that because we won the series right? i think hes the best hitter in the area for the upcoming season, but i agree he needs work defensively to be considered the best catcher, personally i think he would be a better fit at 1st base for bc not a dh, it doesnt require a lot of throwing and hes used to taking funny hops, lets face it you need that kind of sr leadership on the field at all times, not just dh'ing. but what do i know ???

well, i def think the bc jasper games will be interesting...remember, in all five games we played last year, bc had the lead and let it slip away. the more i think about the whole thing, the more i still believe we were the better team of the two, however if jasper beat us 4 out of 5 times they deserved it. its just a shame how it ended. but i really think bc will bring a little extra to both of the games against jasper, i know coach laird will have the kids mentally ready to play all that said, every game is gonna be tough no matter whos playing who...remember, orangefield was three outs away from pretty much keeping bc out of the playoffs last year, and of has only gotten better

if we schedule 1a schools its normally a varsity team for the jv

lamar football would be awesome, no telling how many kids go overlooked every year, even with the program being really young and underdeveloped, i think if they did get it going, they would win a few games THE FIRST SEASON on setx talent alone

one of the most dissapointing things in missing the playoffs last year was that we were 6-4 in maybe the toughest district in the state and we watched liberty waltz on in w/ a 3-7 record....rediculous

second time i've seen lumberton play this year, i sat on their side and you could feel the excitement from the parking lot, awesome environment tonight for the raiders, i cant believe im saying this but congrats lumberton fans! i really am happy for you because tonight brought back memories of the early 2000's when bc was making their first runs in 30 something years. congrats

in hs most coaches would take a strike thrower over a flamethrower any day......hicks can pump into the upper 80s now and clark doesnt have a cannon but gets kids out

1bc, pitching pitching pitching, hicks clark dillon cessac 2 jasper 3 hj. no bc player is scared to be on the diamond, our jv kids would be on varsity anywhere else in the district. we dont rebuild we reload. dont forget about casey jackson, that kid can swing the bat and w/ hicks and robertson just being sophs and already that good, watch out

coach tarver is still coaching i talked to him before the school year was over. i said that about coach stump because i can see it, the ground work is being laid for a tradition of excellence, not just on the field but in the class room, in the weight room, building character. not that tarver didnt do that its just that he made certain decisions throughout the game itself that left you scratching your head like ??? for example , october 31, 2003 buna 8 bc 2...we called a pass on 4th and 1, didnt make it, didnt make the playoffs. tarver was one of my favorite coaches but just by talking to the seniors this year, i know i would do anything to play for coach stump.

lets not even start the "why did they get rid of tarver " stuff. if you people cant see that the reason for this season is because of the lack of talent, number of seniors, size, and depth then you really dont know football. tarver was a good guy and i'd say a pretty good coach, but i hope i make it clear when i say that coach stump is a GREAT coach, give him some time to sink his teeth in this pool of athletes. if coach stump was here two years ago, the seniors of 06/07 would all have a ring on their finger, with that much depth speed and size in the team of the "rita season" coach tarver tried to get the spread going but when push came to shove he was a 70%run 30% pass type of guy. and hes still coaching a secondary at a school in ft worth. and all of the seniors on the team had playing time last year, but only patrick carlton started all the games, luce and winn started a few games last year, and patrick is the only one w/ three years varsity experience. within 3 years bc will be back in the playoffs

to say that they will not earn the RESPECT of their parents and community if they lose this game....is indeed a stupid statement....i really want to know why a 15/16/17 year old kid will lose his parents respect if they lose another football game.

why will they never get the respect of the fans or their parents?? its football, not life or death. that statement was idiodic. playing hurt is part of the game, Doug carlton played his whole sophomore year with a fractured ankle, and thats not easy as an offensive tackle, dishon did the same thing last year with a high ankle sprain, and played the kville game after being in the hospital two days before, and passing a kidney stone a few hours before the game. it comes down to desire and passion, and all the bc kids have it, 0-10 or 10-0. i'll take bc in this game. bc has some good groups coming up, but it will take a lot to match the classes of 06 and 07, im more worried about the number of seniors playing than the number of wins in jr high and pop warner

so whats the deal on the age limit?? im in college, and i'd love to play lol
