  1. No way. Not with that small town, naive, bunch that calls themselves coaches. I mean, give me a break. The only reason they got to state was because they were from a weak region. The coaches are small timers trying to survive in a world of big timers. you have your head so far up!! you don't even no a thing about coaching basketball it you mean what you wrote!!!!! weak region huh how many ranked teams came from our region?? can you tell me that...why don't you get a job and stop wasting your time making ridiculous post... you cant find a better coaching staff from freshman level to varsity as HJ's in the state .... you need to the Cheetos crumbs of your key board and type something worth reading... : : thatathlete09...You need to read the whole thread before you start posting. : : stevenash was only being sarcastic What does cheetos on the keyboard have to do with posting ???

  16. Ahhh, but you must remember Spinks that you are just one of those local 3-a country bumpkins who don't "really know and understand what is going on. The fact that you participated in division 1 college competition, and the fact that your brother has either played in and coached in 3 state tournaments is meaningless. What even makes it more meaningless is that you are from a 3-a school so your opinion doesn't count. Same goes for Billy Gillespie and Bill Self. But the thing is, Spinks stated nothin but facts. So you saying that his "opinion" doesn't count, it really isn't even an opinion at all. The only opinion he said was that Dick might not like HJ or have no clue what he is talking about. Spinks was right on topic I think and though our region hasnt brought anything back lately, I think we have way more depth than any other region. I think you possibly failed to "get my drift" Remember Stevenash he is from a 3A school, he does not understand your since of humor ;D
  17. Never mind...At least Kenny Powers gets it. ;D ;D
  18. Hey I thought this was a Silsbee thread j/k ;D ;D ;D ;D
  19. Silsbee fans...We had our chance...so let it go, HJ won the games that mattered at the regional tournament. Silsbee will be back next year. I personaly do not care how many banners HJ has hanging in their gym..IMO the only people that care are the fans, players, and coaching staff of their respected school. Congrats to HJ players and coaches on a fine season.
  20. Nobody said anything about BC or Jasper being weak.
  21. That is not Billy Bob Thornton ;D ;D
  22. UIL Referendum Ballot Results FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AUSTIN, TX? Conference 1A schools participating in 11-Man football will be split into two divisions prior to the season, after a vote of 1A school superintendents across the state. The results of the University Interscholastic League referendum ballot sent to school superintendents are in, and have been approved by the Commissioner of Education. By a margin of 203 to 65, school superintendents voted to divide Conference 1A football into two divisions prior to starting the season, as is done in 6-Man football. Starting with the 2010-2012 alignment period, schools in Conference 1A 11-Man football will be divided into two divisions, with the largest enrollment schools comprising Division I and the remaining schools comprising Division II. Conference 1A 11-Man football will consist of 32 districts, with approximately 16 districts in Division I and 16 districts in Division II. Each district will advance two teams to the playoffs. Currently, each district advances three teams to the playoffs, with the largest enrollment school from each district playing in Division I playoffs and the two remaining schools advancing to the Division II playoffs. Additionally, Reclassification and Realignment policies for 6-Man football will be modified to allow schools participating in 6-Man football to calculate and submit enrollment figures based on any one of four formulas. Currently, 6-Man football schools must submit their figures based on enrollment for grades 9-12.
