in reponse to rip, i know washburn had been talked to by the spindletop trainers a year or two ago about getting on hughes team after they watched her in a scrimmage but she was a few months too old. Other than hughes team there isnt an actual club team in this af the teams are only d iv 2 that i know of. She went to houston to play on some teams for a little while but there just isnt enough well put together teams in this area

if i remember correctly the nederland girls beat baytown goose creek memorial and santa fe and had several close games with lumberton. not saying i think nederland is like amazing or anything like that. just i usually dont agree with these rankings

now yall are just being ridiculous...i seriously doubt friendswood fan is jealous of lumberton for beating central 14-0 no offense to central.. now if it was something like beating png or nederland or someone halfway decent 14-0 i'd understand....

ehh.....after last nights game between hj and nederland im gonna have to lean more towards breanne martin although they both have their strengths and weaknesses. im just still having a hard time understanding why the goalie would run almost out to half field to kick a ball out and risk an open goal when hjs defenders were standing close by.. she was just a littleeee too cocky(i cant find a better word) for me

sorry but it is definitely not peavy from lumberton... probably the only reason shes been scored on only 4 times is because yall are in a weaker district and lumberton has a pretty solid defense.. she's shakey and weak and doesnt know how to judge a ball...

dont get cocky after beating nederland. yall are no where near close to being the best of the best good for this area yes. best of the best...no way. yall are easily beatable by a team that has it together. and nederland obviously didnt last night.

its actually at the nederland stadium which is at central middle school..not the highschool

guys washburn from nederland...guessing theres a relation there but their whole back line is pretty solid angelle(sp?) from port neches... havent been able to catch many guys games this year lumberton girls have a few good defenders and kellys madeline horning i think is her name impressed me

well nederland beat santa fe and port neches beat nederland..and i saw the nederland santa fe game...and santa fe wasnt that impressive for being ranked so high so actually im thinkin port neches has a pretty good chance of giving these teams a run for their money

from what ive heard im pretty sure this is that goalies first year to play goalie ever he does a heck of a job especially if it is his first year.

after everything i had heard about port neches i expected them to win. but honestly i was a little let down i wasnt actually truely impressed by them theyre first goal was a good goal, an amazingly placed shot right in the top corner from outside the box but with that said it was easily preventable if the team they were playing would mark up theyre good and should get a few rounds into playoffs but i wouldnt say theyre the best offense ever in southeast texas
