I have always said, if it wasn't for the Moms', coaching kids ball, be it select or Little League, would be a whole lot easier...No offense to the Moms' out there, but it's true. They know just enough to be dangerous.
As a husband of a teacher, you don't want me to get started on how much she would make if you broke it down by the hour that she spends at the school. Not near enough...as far as discrepancy in enrollment numbers between schools in the same classification, that does not just occur in 4A, but in all 5 levels. Examples: 5A- North Shore 4600, Memorial 2270. 4A- Central 1840, Lumberton 1087. 3A- Silsbee 822, Buna 450. 2A- Kirbyville 425, Newton 300.
There is no shame in being beat by the Rattlers...after I saw them dismantle Jasper a few weeks ago, I said they were state bound and the way they are handling WO-S, looks like they might have the goods to bring it home.
I guess I will be sitting on the Carthage side then. I like to meander all the way to the backside of the stadium on the vistors side to park, it's a short walk to the vistors gate from there.
Going to see this one as well. Although, I think the WO-S / Navasota game will be a battle, it's the 35 minute ride home that makes my decision easier instead of the 2 hour one. Plus Lamar has a great stadium to watch a football game at.
Personally, he stepped into a tough position. Big shoes to fill following Alvarez, not to mention those 2 runs at State. Wildcat Nation has upped their expectations of what they have seen on the gridiron and it's gonna be tough to reach those levels on a consistent basis. There is not a coach I have talked to over the past few years that does not speak of Coach Neece with the highest regards.
