All of the sudden it's about "the kids". The kids were being served well by the coach that got railroaded out of town. That's where the concern should be.

A former employee of the district, that thinks they can do a better job than Coach Prieto, has the ear of the Supt. and stirred up some of the town people. Coach Prieto was tired of hearing all the BS from people looking into the fish bowl, but with no actual skin on the game, and had enough. This is a classic small town screw job by people that don't have a clue. I had become a Crosby from a far, now I hope they get what they deserve every Friday night! Good Luck to Coach Prieto, he'll be just fine!!!

This is true, but both starting running backs in the slot t tore their ACLs the week prior to playing PNG. That made a significant impact on limiting their offensive production.

I do not agree with how Coach Faircloth was treated, but moving forward I think PNG has a lot to be excited about with this hire. I also think having Coach Dodge involved in the entire process will be money very well spent!

I have zero connection to PNG other than I've seen them play a few times, but I am not a member of the community or do not live anywhere near there. Reading the thread and checking the link to the schoolboard members and pairing it up with the 2021 PNG roster. It looks like there are current two board members that had kids on the team. Just a hunch, but I bet the smoke starts there. I would think a decision like this would have to be personal, since it seems Coach Faircloth has been successful and well respected by the community. Interested to hear the rest of the story. Good luck to Coach Faircloth (I'm sure there are plenty of football programs out there that will be very happy to get him as their coach), and the athletes going forward no matter which way this turns out.

If you're mad you can;t watch the state games, complain to Sinclair. It’s that conglomerate that is super pro Trump and makes their news stations read propaganda about rigged elections. They acquired the regional sports networks when Fox merged with another huge company last year and had to sell off certain assets to get around antitrust laws. Since then they have demanded an outrageous amount from the TV providers. Never seen all of them say no before, so you know it’s not any one provider that’s holding this up. Who's ready for 2024???

I have heard that Crosby can run with anyone, but I think GR is just going to have too much in the trenches. When schools are this much bigger than the other, it usually shows up on the LOS. saying that, I hope Crosby can get the ball to their play makers and take this one!
