2. somebody update this thing!  ::)
3.
Hicks-BC Felts-OF Bellow-Ned Laird-Ned Statum-OF Robertson-BC Hester-Vidor Johnson-HF Cardenas-Ned Parker-Jasper Benoit-PNG
Henry-Silsbee Jalali-PNG Darnall-WOS Hagler-Vidor Minaldi-HF all very quality players.
4. these can be updated! sowell has had two more quality outings, giving him 3 wins in the first week of the season! landry hit another homerun, a walk-off against hudson, giving him 4. and darnall hit another homerun off dayton. anybody else i'm missing?
5. sure sounds like lumberton has some firepower at the plate this year.
6. Darnall from WO-S 4-8 with 2 doubles, 6 RBI and a walk-off 3-run bomb.
7. well they haven't done anything that really captures anybody's attention like they need to do. They need to improve a LOT from last year's club. I have heard of Manzella though, and I sure loved to watch Adam play short!
8. it seems the top teams from 21-3a are ranked high every year. whichever team steps up to make the 3rd spot will probably end up getting ranked as well. One dang solid 3a district. and I agree. Nederland should definitely be ranked. Don't know too much about 1a ball though, sorry Evadale lol
9. who is the "better" pitcher is a touchy subject. Hicks, Felts, Statum, and Johnson are the top 4 i'd say. i' m not sure if all my stats are right, im just doing this off memory, but i recall that Felts had the best ERA of the bunch with Hicks close behind. then johnson and statum were close together a full run higher than the first pair. In terms of WINS, Matt had the most with 13, then I believe Logan had 10. All these pitchers go about thier business with a different style though. Johnson doesnt throw hard, but he locates and gets guys fishing very well. Hicks has the best overall stuff in the bunch, and he just overpowers hitters when he's on. Felts is aggressive and attacks hitters and it leads to quick innings and easy outs. Statum is a a mixture of all 3. sometimes aggressive, sometimes nippy, and can be overpowering at times. I cant point a finger and say one is the best, but these are definitely the top pitchers in 21-3a based on last year's performances. every year more emerge though, goodluck to all.
10. he signed with Baltimore for a year! gahh, Houston really needs to get off the bench and make a ballTEAM!
11. there should be no knocks on the sundevils. they DO have a pretty legit system in place as it seems. but if you have college-level talent, you WILL be noticed and recognized. yes, it does happen occasionally that a good ball player the couldve gone to a juco ends up not going for baseball, but that has to do with the player's want and drive to play the game on the next level. those who really want to play at the college level will make themselves known. even if they are in a tough money situation, if they want it, they can earn money and get sponsors to at least go to camps. the sundevils and organizations like that just make it so much easier to be exposed to coaches and scouts. i dont really have a bottom line, just rambling  ;D
12. gaahh do i miss those dayss! :-\
13.
You can't talk about how good jasper will be without mentioning their ace pitcher, come on
Derek Sowell! nasty cat from the left side
14. I love watchin this guy play. I'm fortunate to live in an area with such baseball talent, and out of all the great players I've seen come through here, Matt has been one of my favorite to watch. Congratulations young man.
15. I've had the priveledge to watch these guys a lot over the past 3 years. They're the real deal. These schools are getting exactly what they want, the best of the best.
16. Congrats to a dang good pitcher.
Since many LCM players played Babe Ruth in Mid County last summer I look for 2 guys to make a contribution who will probably make their debut on varsity, Ryan Waddell and Alec Blem.
Waddell can flat out hit.
That's forsure. They have a good one in him. I'm curious orangefield; Jake Best used to be a pretty good player in my opinion, will he help out the varisty this year?
18. pretty legit list. props to the devils! good recruiting.
19.
Babe Ruth had to hit a baseball with the reaction of today's hackysack (sp.). Plus, his bat was not far removed from being a pine tree branch. If the Babe could have juiced, we wouldn't be talking about these other bums.
56oz. bat!  :o thats no joke fellas
20. either 2nd or 3rd, he would be on the team. put him at 2nd and get aaron morgan at 3rd Clayton Gearhart for 1st I'd put Bellow on the hill and put Hicks at ss maybe Reyenga in RF
21.
PNG will put a very good team on the field : Stone Reyenga Jalali Sweetnam Benoit A bunch more I am sure.
They usually go out with a team of 9  ;) but I have to agree, they have some talent. Denzlinger maybe? I don't know about their overall depth, but most of these guys mentioned are some real players
22.

Pitching wins.
