Deweyville 7th Grade beat Hardin 7th Grade 30 - 28 tonight.

I would've been devastated if i wasn't able to play my senior year of high school. as for that commitment, I'm sure that we're not the only people who have heard about this incident. in college the whole program's success is not going to be decided by whether or not he plays, and that's something that he better learn quick. If he keeps up the antics and the attitude, he'll be off the team so quick his head will be spinning, although he could probably always come back to Lamar... You can bet if he still has the offer to Texas, Rick Barnes will not put up with a disrespectfull attitude.

Should be another tough, close game, if the Pirates eliminate the turnovers and hit some outside shots I believe they pull out the win on the road 75-70.

Kountze - 70 Hardin - 64

Both Teams played well, I don't know his name but #22 for Warren is awesome, he must of had 28 - 30 points for the Warriors. Congrats to Deweyville for hanging tough and pulling out the much needed victory.

I too have attended several games this year, Girls and Boys, and the Officiating is something that needs to be addressed. The game is being done a dis-service by the incompetence show by some of the referee's. A grading system, game reviews, something to check and balance this downward trend that in my opinon is hurting the game.

Well i wander what happened to Bland shutting down Marsh they both played well Bland had 23 Marsh had 27 and he blocked Blands shot twice so you decide who outplayed who :o Are you joking are just dumb? Why get on here a ruin a great game with trash talking? Both players and Teams were outstanding, get a life.

Deweyville girls beat Hardin, I don't remember the final score.

First let me catch my breath, what an awesome game, congrats to BOTH teams for putting on a great show. Hardin is the real deal, well Coached, excellent ball players, a very good TEAM. Deweyville had their chances, after trailing most of regulation by 10 pts, they made a furious 4th qtr comeback to force OT. In the 1st OT Deweyville had a chance for the win, leading by 3 pts with time running out and Hardin hit a 3 pointer at the end of the 1st OT to tie it and send the game to double OT. In the 2nd OT when Bland fouled out it seemed like all the air came out of Deweyville, and Hardin took over to close out the game and get a hard fought victory over Deweyville. Again, congrats to BOTH teams, good luck to both teams the rest of the way.

Way too early for this, alot of Basketball left to be played.

Your teams in 1st place in District and you are still crying about respect on a sports forum? Get over it and move on, it's peoples opinion's, and they are entitled to them.

I like Deweyville's gym, top notch for a small school.

I hate to bring up the "must win" comment, however, Deweyville's backs are definately against the wall they have to win the remaining home games and take one on the road if they want to advance to the playoffs. Bland and Marsh are both outstandig players and they will get their points and rebounds, it's the outside shooting of Deweyville that will have to pull the Pirates through for the win at home.
