  1. After bearing witness to the destruction the Offensive and Defensive lines brought to the Vinton Lions on Friday night, Deweyville is in great shape in this area of the team, and with only 1 senior starter on the line, the future looks bright.
  2. #3 for Deweyville, K. Addison runs between the tackles very well, and he's only a Soph.,
  3. Sometimes you have to show you can win games like this one, UGLY, but a win is a win, the offensive and defensive lines were awesome, they controlled a much bigger team the entire night. Vinton is a good football team, Deweyville has some things to work on, but all in all, good effort.
  4. The Jamboree hosted by Deweyville was awesome, close to 44 teams participated in the event and the amount of people was staggering, special thanks to the concession stand workers, wow, I don't ever remember a time throughout the day that there wasn't at least 3 lines at each window and 6 or 7 people deep. I'm looking forward to the year in LoneStar Junior Football, it should be a great one.
  5. Let's go Pirates, open they new stadium with a win.
  6. Give it up ECBuc08, you are not going to win, keep positive and good luck this year, let others spew all the negativity about your program that they want, they fact is, EC is a class organization that isn't afraid to play anyone.
  7. Way to go Duckbutter, you couldn't have said it any better.

  9. If you want people to take you seriously when you post, you have to know what you are talking about, if you have not seen Mt. Enterprise play this year, then you are not informed enough to know how good they looked, and neither is Texas Football Magazine. That's why they suit up and play the games on the field, and not in magazines.
  10. I'll be willing to bet you that Joaquin and the others in Mt. Enterprise's District better strap it on when they play them, I don't give a crap what Texas Football Magazine ranks them, they return 10/9 Starters from last year's team. Mt. Enterprise run's the spread offense and has the QB and receivers to run it well., they will make the playoffs in their District, they are that good and well coached.
  11. Both Deweyville lines Offensive and Defensive are going to be hard to handle, plenty of depth and returning starters on both.
  12. I agree, with as many fans that travel with EC when they play on the road the seating is not going to be very accommodating. Some smaller classification stadiums in the area are in a similar situation, with new facilities being built this area (seating) should have been addressed. With as many fans as EC brings on the road with them when they travel and some other schools that Deweyville plays at home this year, I wish they could have provided more stands, I agree that this is not only a Deweyville problem, but a problem at other smaller classification school stadium's in the area also.
  13. The one problem I see with the new stadium is the seating capacity. Not only is the home side small, the visitors side is very small, I highly recommend getting there early to the game or bringing chairs to sit along the fence line. The field itself and the facilities are top notch and it will be a source of pride for the Pirates.
  14. 1. EC followed closely by Deweyville, should be a competitive District race.
  15. Deweyville has a couple, but the one that sticks out is their quick guard on the offensive line, this kid is a workout animal whose one of the fastest players on the entire team, he's still growing at 6'1" and close to 200 lbs.
