Correct Bucster, this game will not be close unless EC wants it to be.

EC - They are more than just Thomas, they play team ball, so you really have to play a disciplined game to beat them.

EC is going to be a handful that's for sure, I think EC at Deweyville will be a good game, with the game scheduled so early in the District race it's hard to say it's a "must win" District showdown game, I think all the District games this year will be competitive and hard fought. In 24-AA EC is the measuring stick against which all other District teams measure themselves so EC at Deweyville is my pick.

I think Hardin will be competitive, however, this year it will be hard to finish above .500

I like your team spirit, however, until you can beat the "best team" in the District, EC then EC is the best team.

No I haven't lost my mind, I'm a realist not a fantasy wisher. All you have to go on is previous years, and to be quite honest, Kountzes' defense has been horrible. And by the way, I didn't rank Kountze last, I ranked Hardin last.

I agree, I think Anahuac will suprise some people this year, Coach Barbay will make them that much better. You better not over look the Panthers, that's for sure.

1. Newton 1a. EC Possible Division 2 mathchup if Woodville makes the playoffs. That's one game I would be willing to pay to see. EC is loaded this year, and Newton is also going to be strong.

Better chance next year, this year it will be very difficult to unseat EC, Deweyville, Buna/Warren/Anahuac.

Ain't nothing wrong with being positive for ones team, ya'll will be better this year, give Coach Barbay a year or two and he'll get things changed for the better.

DYFL will be holding sign ups for their Senior, Junior and Flag Football Players and Cheerleaders on July 14, 21, and 28 from 9:00 am till 12:00 pm at the "old" High School Field House. All participants will need to signup on one of the above dates.
