After 3rd Warren - 3 Dville - 3 Pirates ran themselves out of a big inning there, base loaded no outs and kid picked off 2nd. Then failed attmpt steal of 2nd, unbelievable.

You can never overlook Deweyville, but I give the edge to Warren.  [/quote] Yes the wheels are shaky on the Pirate express right now, and with Warren coming to town, it's not an opponent you can count on giving up some cheap or easy runs cause they play defense so well, heck they hit and pitch well also. The Pirates will have to find a way to play a near perfect game to beat the Warriors, which they are capable of doing, but making 8 and 9 errors like the last two games will not do it.  Good luck to both teams.

[/quote] Well it was good hitting by the Panthers, so far this is the best hitting team the Pirates have played, congrats to the Panthers.  The Pirates continue to make errors, mental, base running and fielding errors that have put them and their pitchers constantly playing catch up.  This is a young team, I believe only 2 seniors so hopefully they will improve, however, at this point of the season, they are still making the same mistakes and will continue to struggle until they correct the errors.

Finally... After some timely hitting and 4 errors in the field by the pirates the score heading to the bottom of the 6th: anahuac - 17 pirates - 5

Anahuac has broken the game open with a grand slam and 3 run home run in the inning, still batting with no outs. 12 to 5 anahuac up.

Pirates score 1 in btm of 5th to take a 5 to 4 lead heading to top of 6th.
