HF -1 Deweyville - 0 Good work for both teams, HF much improved over last couple years, HF offense running the spread will only get better as year goes on, HF defense was quick and played hard.  Deweyville dressed out 17 I believe and they played hard good improvement over last couple years, defense looked good, offense a little out of sync but all in all both teams have alot to look forward to this year.

The Pirates will be competitive in their new District, the Skill Positions will be their strength on Offense with the offensive line being a concern following graduation losses.  On Defense the Linebacking and Secondary should be stout and the Defensive line returns some starters that will help on that side of the ball.  Barring injuries I believe the Pirates will compete very well in the upcoming season.

Since Deweyville lost their PG to injury I believe they have been averaging 30 plus TO's and unless they get a grip on the TO's the lady Warriors will win this one.

EC wins big, Lady Bucs are super talented.

Buna won by a couple points, really good game.

Final Deweyville - 79 High Island - 48

Tough, hard fought game, High Island came to play tonight, the Lady Pirates were missing 2-starters so the bench stepped up tonight as well as a couple JV Players.  This game benefited both teams. Good luck to the Cardinals next week.

Good luck to the Lions, bring back that Championship trophy.
