Unfortunately after 1 scrimmage and 2-games now with 3-different crews the same theme is replaying, inconsistent calling by the Refs.  All the Coaches, Players and Fans want is consistency, if they can give that then no arguments, however, so far this year it has been a problem, especially at the WOS game.

 3. WOS - 48 Deweyville - 46 Awesome game by both teams, congrats to the Lady Stangs on the win.  WOS has a unbelievable PG and they are tall and rebound very well.  The Lady Pirates were down by 13 pts and fought back and still had a chance at the end of the game with final shot to tie or win the game, gutsy game, these are the type of games that will benefit both teams come district play.
 4. Congrats to the hornets, very nice facilities.  To the Pirates its been a long year, alot of young players gained valuable playing time this year that will benefit them in the years to come.
 5.
Two years ago.. this board laughed. Why? Yours truly predicted Port Neches-Grove to win the district title. You guys laughed and said.. Not chance! They went on to win the district title. Yours truly got the last laugh. This past August.. this board laughed. Why? Yours truly predicted once again, Port Neches-Grove to win the district title. Not only did yours truly predict them to win the district title.. The other projection was that the Indians would end up being the best team in the Golden Triangle. Yours truly got the last laugh on both accounts. And before you knuckleheads get on me about backing PN-G.. in no way do I have any favoritism towards any team. Several admins on here can even attest to that. Just calling it how I see it. Deweyville, I sure hope yall dont have to use your boats this weekend.
There's flooding here in Liberty County but I didn't know you guys flooded also. I hope you guys in Deweyville are safe from the flooding. I just read in another forum about the flooding there. [Hidden Content]
The river should crest tomorrow some time, its already very high in some parts.
 8. Deweyville scrimmaged High Island tonight in Deweyvile and won by about 10 pts, Coach Hammerly played all the girls in 4 min shifts and the team showed alot of positives; Defensive hustle, ball movement and control/tempo.  Rebounding and shooting was not bad considering its the first live action of the year.  The team will be alot better and more competitive this year, they have depth and the return of Skylar Webster as the PG helps tremendously. Looking forward to seeing the Lady Pirates play throughout the year.

We wouldn't have it any other way.  I know that the playoffs or looming, but PN-G have been wanting a piece of us for a year now.  We've been wanting a piece of them Since they started winning these games and have been begging for a worthy challenge before playoffs (not the mention the arrogant cocky fans that thinks that PN-G are invincible).
Now, C'mon Soulja!  You know well and good that the majority of Jag fans were just as arrogant, cocky and feeling invinsible before last Friday.  And you had a right to be too.  Ya can't blame PNG fans for feeling the same way, especially since they really haven't been challenged in the last 2/3 of the season thus far.  And, if Central was 8-1, they'd STILL be cocky.
Here's a big ole slice of humble pie for those arrogant and cocky, it grants you class and humility, and the ability to act as though you have been here before because both schools have a tradition of playoff excellence.  Enjoy.  ;)
 12.
PNG is the New York Yankees of Southeast Texas Football.  If you're an Indian, you love it.  If not, jealousy rules your life. Remember - to the victors goes the unabashed smack talk until someone finds a way to stop you. Arrogance is actually a good feeling
::) ::)
PN-G by 27+ !!!  Let me make one thing VERY clear to all the BH people out there....This is not the same PN-G team you faced in Week 0!  PN-G has become a Juggernaut!!! One and done for BH........Let me be the first to say ADIOS!
::)
 14.

I will also say this about Corey, he suffered a concussion last week that affected 9 out of 13 sections of his brain.  Now lots of kids would have been on the sidelines, and if they did play they would tend to be tentative.  Corey went out there and gave it his all, competing just like he hadn't suffered an injury at all.  My hats are off to a young man that obviously has a lot of heart.
I'll say this, if he had that severe a concussion, why in the heck did he play last night? That's really pushing the envelope there, IMO.
Very risky move to play IF the concussion was this bad.
