Both teams showed rust early from the layoff, however, it was a very physical game, HF is huge, lots of size on both sides of the ball, and congrats to the Longhorns on the victory tonight, exciting game to watch, although Deweyville could not capitalize on the opportunities they had, they never quit and kept fighting till the end, I think the Pirates will be fine, and with District starting next week, the Pirates should be fighting for a playoff spot. I really think you'll will turn heads this year and have a good chance of getting a playoff spot. Thanks, good luck next week, you going to make it to the game?

How do you know, and if we already registered how do we get this? If you have registered, go to the fema website and check and see if your application has been updated. Mine was and it said I was eligible for temp housing. After that, take your fema # to the hotel and if they are fema contracted they will cover your room. Thanks, mine is updated now. Now to find out if my place is hotel contracted. Is there a website or place you can find what Hotels participate with FEMA?

now don't forget there is a huge diff. between being successfull in 2A and 4A Don't agree with ya there, depends on the other 10 players on the field with you, Kane is a good, to above average running back that happens to play on a 2a team with an outstanding offensive line, if he was to play on a 4a team with a outstanding offensive line then he would still be considered a good to above average running back.

If we do that, we have an opportunity, barring anymore injuries, to be a good football team. IMO.

Deweyvilles 7th Grade tied Hemphill 7th Grade 2 - 2 in a controlled scrimmage. Deweyvilles 8th Grade beat Hemphill 12 - 0.

Explain to me how missing one non district game could hurt a teams chances of making the playoffs. As for the baseball comparison, thats apples and oranges. Football much more difficult to change than baseball. Speaking strictly about Deweyville, we have a new Coach and Offense/Defense that's totally different from anything we've ever run before, so we need every game type situation we have to get more proficient with the new Offense/Defense. So in our case, yes missing one game will hurt our chances. IMO
