Deweyville is young and inconsistent, when they are on, they can play with anybody in the District, however, lately they have not been "on". Hopefully this game Deweyville will pull it together and play a very good game, they are due.

There is no gaurantee BC will beat Jasper if they meet in the playoffs! That's what matters is the post season. The District Championship is very important.

You can check the "District Standings" sticky at the top of the Baseball site, but currently they are in a four team (Deweyville, EC, Kountze and Hardin) fight for two playoff spots.

Be honest with yourself. Do you really think Deweyville will have buna and e.c. fighting for the last playoff spot and anahuac makes it Hardin not even in the picture? It's someone's opinon on a message board, if you think differently, post your opinon and we'll see come November.

Just the facts! Hillin struck out 12 and only allowed 4 hits against EC. Clark struck out 12 and allowed 4 hits against Anahuac. I wish I could have a bad outing like that! Buna by 7 plus

Just attended the Boy's Junior High 21-3A District Track Meet at Orangefield, very impressed with the talent of the HF 7th Grade Team and the BC 8th Grade Team, very deep and talented groups of young men. Individual performance that stuck out was Jake Best 8th grade OF, who won the 800m (2:14), 400m (54.7) and the 200m (24.6) against some very good competition, this young man is not only an outstanding athlete, but a very fine young man.

I think this D1 stud (move in) is going to be surprised about the talent and hitting in this District, let's play the games first, then give out the post season awards.

Congrats to Kountze, ya'll came out ready to play and flat out knocked the cover off the ball, Deweyville needs to forget about this game and come out next game ready to play.

Congrats Buna, you guys are a very good, well Coached Team, you should make plenty of noise come playoff time. Deweyville hit the ball well, just too many errors, keep your heads up and continue to get better, I look for the Pirates to make the playoffs also.
