One more win lifts Kelly to TAPPS state so finals

Kelly beat el Paso Cathedral 1-0. Aaron Hegeman scored in the 25' on set piece free kick presented by Hunter Allen. Boys were able to hold off Cathedral in a crazy second half. Cathedral is a VERY talented team - exceptional passing and ball handling. Game played on a very small field that gave Cathedral the advantage, but Kelly pulled out the win. Great day for local soccer! Tomorrow it's Kelly playing Bishop Lynch of Dallas for the state title. -
Central Catholic beat St. Thomas in the state TAPPS championship game today 4-0.
