As for this game tonight, I started to leave this alone but it really upset me. It was the Scarborough fans, as we had a player laying on the floor being attended to they started cheering, something like let’s go Scarborough. But while there is a player injured on the floor, well let’s just leave it at a very poor time for a cheer.

Hmm is that supposed to be a stab at us or what Connolly won their district and are ranked 17th.

We got a good win, but we better play better on the defensive side this weekend!! Scarborough made a better showing than I expected after what I saw last Friday.

I will say this, I thought the refs were bad not one sided but bad both ways. And the phone service was horrible.

I thought the call was on Devon but if it was I am still hollering at the ref. He farted in front of their player and slashed at the ball. The player went down hard but I didn’t think it was anything dirty or flagrant for that matter.

Not knocking him at all but I doubt that.

I was expecting a little more from HJ but from watching their scores this year I don’t know if it was a little inconsistency or me just expecting too much.

Yes they are all tending to go that way right now with either some of ours or BayouCity....all these comparisons of scores really mean nothing.

Does Yates have those subs in during this run?

Exactly on3 game at a time, for both teams.

Can’t say anything about height that’s not a variable. We have a couple at 6’4 or so and that’s the extent of our height. Yates may go 12 deep, but they haven’t played the level of competition we have this year as a whole or that they have in past years. When we have played this year we have gone as many as 12 maybe 14 in the rotation from the start of the game. In those games with tough opponents it has ranged from 8 or 9 to maybe 10 or 11. The fact is that in a game like between these 2 both benches may shrink. A lot will depend on the foul situation as well as how tight 5he game is.

I’m with you here. No need to be concerned about this. One game at a time but I would much rather play a Lincoln down the road than that Argyle style game.

Funny thing about looking back at schedules the only team with a big win loss record that I have seen on Yates schedule was KIPP sunnyside....even more reason for them not to be worrying about a schedule comparison...most of th3 teams they played have records maybe just a few games above .500....

Well then you are completely wrong. We had several district games this year where he did exactly that. One where starters only played he first half and others where they only played maybe half of the third. He even got pair I’ve moments from opposing coaches and players. So maybe you should do a little research before spewing your crap.

That’s what I would have expected... when did all of this actually take place wednesday?? I hate it for the players and especially Coach.

So I thought I would take a look at those losses and some of our wins and see just how those teams did or are doing. Losses Concordia Lutheran 79-87 a record of 40-1 still playing in the playoffs... Atascocita 66-70 went 2 rounds deep in the 6A... SA Wagner 68-100 & 76-86 Still playing in 6A North Shore 40-52 went 2 rounds deep in 6A Center 74-76 sill playing in 4A Duncanville 76-91 went 2 rounds deep in 6A was ranked #7 The Woodlands 63-68 went 2 rounds deep in 6A I don’t think there are any of those to be ashamed of at all. Sure there are one or two we probably should or could have won but that is part of playing the game. Now a few of our wins... Pflugerville 84-77 still playing in 6A South SA 73-59 still playing in 6A Cy Springs 71-61 went 2 rounds in 6A FW Wyatt 73-65 still playing in 5A HJ 87-62 still playing in 4A LaMarque 102-73 still playing in 3A Hmmm looks like a pretty solid body of work to me....

Yes. A few years ago that’s where we played them in this round. I have a feeling that we may be that second game behind you Monday. I have not heard that at all yet but just my feeling.
