I was not at that game and was told we just got beat. No excuses. Was told we had a few things in that game that we had to correct as well, some more of a focus type issue. The thing on our end will be how we respond.

Hmm...not going to get off subject but I can remember people talking about my Tigers early in the year, even before the LCM loss which was our bad one for the year. But the way it looks like 3 of our five losses may very well have been to State Champions. This one might have been the toughest of the 3 possible. Right now it looks like a great job by the Eagles.

One thing about all of this we don’t need to give Center another thought UNLESS we both reach SA.

I have to say, I wasn’t there last night but I have heard a couple opinions that Center is better than Yates. Not my words but coming from some who have seen both.

I wouldn’t necessarily say a 2 pt win at home makes you a favorite....especially in b-ball. Center beat us last night and could again but like I said it’s not a big worry for us at this point. It will probably be a bigger plus for us in the long run. A reason to regroup and refocus. And yes we have had that core group has been on the court but it’s no secret we rely greTly on our depth. I was told a few years Ago that Coach feels it takes About 30 days for our players to really get into b-ball shape, which will put us really after the first of the year with the holidays. Then we will see the real Tigers.

Yes on both accounts. No excuse we lost. Probably needed a reset right now. But you won’t see this team at its top form until after the new year. I have said that from the beginning.

My thoughts exactly. Losing a 2 pt road game to a good team at this point means very little to Silsbee, not that we want to lose any. Now on the opposite side this win may mean a whole lot to Center. Could be a strong learning point or even rally cry for my Tigers. I have been saying since day one, you won’t see this Tiger team at full throttle until after the first of the year. As far as us being basketball gods, no anyone can be beat on any night. It’s how you respond when it happens that makes you Champions!

Always in our prayers but I was wandering if something new was going on other than what you had posted a while back. Nothing wrong with any prayer requests ever just had alarmed some of us I think.

Wasn’t doubting that at all, that what I was stating, we are still in school not out until Friday so I should have realized that sooner than I did.

Those factors may well keep it close to that margin. Not sure it would stay that close without them though.

I had seen this conflict on the schedules earlier in the year. Noticed The one was changed to 7:30 the other day. It wasn’t until today, even with a child in school, that I realized Silsbee is still in school so it has to be 7:30.
