Was reading a thread on this game and there was a pretty big scuffle apparently on the Henderson sideline. My question here is just a rule question, apparently A large number of the Henderson players crossed the 25 yard line leaving the team “box”and 10-15 Carthage players crossed the field into the fight area. I am not going to make any speculations as to what happened, but should these players from both teams that left their team “box” have been ejected? All that was done was double unsportsmanlikes were called. No ejections. Really only wanting the rule question answered, I am not going to get into a discussion on the fight didn’t see it not going to speculate but this could have had a major impact on the rest of the playoffs.

This years team may not have the same kind of depth that we had last year but still has plenty that will be used. Once they get their basketball legs and feel you will see it. We have a few kinks right now but they will get ironed out. Too much trying to be read into a loss to a pretty good 6A school.

This post says a lot. Finally no Bs from BS. The difference between this year and last at this point, besides the obvious graduates, is time. Last year we lost to Carthage in the first round of the football playoffs. This year it was the third round. That’s two weeks of practice, another tourney and a few more games that we had played at this point. A loss to North Shore is nothing to worry about. They have a big advantage in size on us and some good players. We need a little more practice and playing time to fix some areas right now. I have said more than once.....we won’t be playing close to our potential until the beginning of the year. We will still win many games but that’s when I feel you will start seeing the real Tiger team.

Barnes will defend rebound and score. He just lacks the standing height can get off the floor with most anyone.

We had the full team last year in Dallas unless they were taking tests or on a visit somewhere....

I should say that NS big man sat out the rest of the first half after getting his second foul towards the end of the first. He could dominate a game if you let him.

My take in this game is Barnes would have made a big difference with his rebounding and putbacks. I don’t think either team played their best. Maybe it was just too early and neither team really went rhrough much of a warmup. If that was about normal go NS then if we play like our normal, we win.
