I know he has his reasons and they are probably good ones. I was just waiting to see what responses I would get. Unfortunately for us fans right now we don't have many teams locally that would be good for us to play and/or would play us. I like what is being done as far as our schedule but it sure would have been nice on the fans not to lose a local game and I know the coaches didn't want to lose a game.

Getting 3 yards every play is all any coach would really want. That means hitting the end zone at the end of every drive that your offense isn't penalized.

Of course it made us a better team, if nothing more than letting us keep players from getting tired going both ways. Adonis has been a big part of that defense....probably not as big if he had to play both ways. Also opens up the player to a bigger chance to getting an injury. And as far as comparing them at RB, Both are great but I think Calvin has more breakaway speed so I doubt Adonis would have as many long runs, which keeps the defense in a position to stop the drive. Now the flip side to that would be with Adonis running the ball and not getting those big runs the offense would eat more clock and he just downright punishes the defense setting them up to tire out. As far as qb I can't really say a lot as I don't know who would have played there or know enough from for a comparison.

I take it you are meaning 22-23 when either the offense or defense is already on the field.

I don't think it's the football part that they think you dont understand....it may be more along the lines of the political or "keeping it local" part of the coaching history of Silsbee football that they are talking about.....some got a new outside look like they wanted and some were just wanting things to stay the same.....I have no big problems at all with the way things are going in fact I like certain things......but others who didn't get what they wanted will continue to nitpick....

I know how good WOS is. Just saw the statement that the radio guys said it was a totally different offense. We ran into BC running there's last week. Several times I didn't know who had the ball. Surprised it worked that well against WOS defense at east for a half.

What was the different offense that liberty ran?
