  1. Right now isn't he still running track? I would not expect any true news until after that season is finished. As far as academics, having a 3.5 says wonders about the student not the schools academics......
  2. Haha no I don't know how that "ananda" got in there!
  3. And that is what we will be needing. Our returnees and transfers can be great but without that line it not mean much!
  4. Oh I am not doubting it just hadn't heard that possibility.
  5. Have not heard the WOS part but have heard the rest...,
  6. So just what are these returnee transfers going to add to my Tigers? Going to be another fun year...
  7. We have and are getting good skill players. How is the offensive line looking? Have a lot of replacing to do there.
  8. I was told today this will happen, even saw his Dad at the school this evening checking things out.
  9. I have not seen Tre play yet but I can remember watching Jeremy play in high school and not being impressed by his throwing ability at the time. Still did a great job as a high school qb. Now I watched Jeremy's stats and a game or two this year and was impressed by how much he has improved. Great work and congratulations to him. He also made a great impression in a draft/pro day in Houston a month or two ago. As for Tre it will be great to have him back home. I would say a starter, even at Legacy, has a good jump as far as a qb competition.
  10. Saw him state he would be in school Monday. I also know of at least one more transfer myself.
  11. Summer league is definitely another issue in itself.
  12. I feel that overall it is for the good and probably the only way you can make an effective rule. However these kids are all different some mature earlier physically than others and some work harder than others, which may definitely give them the capability of throwing more pitches or recovering more quickly. I also wonder how it will affect recruiting and coaching. Could be a coaching nightmare.
  13. The thread title score is backwards! Good game for the Tigers! Overcame some mental errors to pull out a tough win!
  14. Mental errors costing the Tigers a possible 2-2 tie right now.
  15. It's funny that that article was posted, it posts answers to what I was wondering while scanning the previous post. I can't say I know anything at all about the costs but I was wondering how the maintenance cost of grass vs. replacement and maintenance turf panned out.
  16. I would hope that as well, but probably just wishes. If HF wants his Dad to see him play his Sr. Year then there is only one answer, if he does get offered and accepts the job.
  17. Could it be that most of these schools with turf were already successful and generating enough money to justify better facilities both turf and the main ingredient better training facilities. Or have a big enough tax base to get the extra money.
  18. What the heck....I will never believe turf is a reason for winning a state title!
  19. So we picked up a game with the underclass filled Shadow Creek. Definitely better than having only 9 games.
  20. Have heard this rumor for a while , maybe it's becoming true.....
  21. We tried to start one earlier this year,. And I know there was extensive research done over about a years time maybe more. I didn't do it but that was what we were told it's no longer athletic booster club but baseball booster club or softball booster club. I do do know there are strict rules which presents lots of work. This and lack of participation is a problem especially in sports with smaller numbers of players.
  22. I believe, from what I know of trying to get a booster club started, that by UIL rules a booster club has to be for just one group such as boys basketball, not both boys and girls.
