  1. With this teams performances most criticisms are nitpicking. I hope they perform up to their capabilities from here on out. Come prepared every game and go all out. That's all we can ask. My concern is just that they haven't been really tested in quite a while, just have to see the response when that happens.
  2. We have 3 shooters that have been real good this year, 14, 10 and 5. Maze, Harris and Adams. Adams had one of the worst shooting nights I have seen him have tonight, but it was his first playoff game so I am sure he will do a lot better. When any of them get hot watch out. And you are right, the Tigers forced plenty of turnovers but I have seen them put even more pressure in some ways than they did tonight. As far as stepping up and taking charge when the shots aren't falling, Devon McCain (3), has done that at times this year. Earlier this year vs Central he did so late in the game. We will also have his older brother Michael back in a week or so who has that ability as well. It will be interesting to see how things go. There are some teams out there that will give us tough tests even on good nights , so we need to step up every night.
  3. I don't know about the impressed part, but this isn't a game that should change his mind about a team with good guards and a good big. This game was ugly for Liberty! 50 turnovers,. This was the kind of game the Tigers play best, create havoc and force turnovers. Not much else in this one as far as game play. A little too hyped up at the very beginning but about the time the second group entered in the first quarter, this one was pretty much over.
  4. Not sure I would say Liberty trying to run. They just aren't getting a choice!
  5. That I can understand, just wondered if one was in waiting.
  6. If that happens will we still bea game short? Or has someone been found to fill the open spot?
  7. How many times have you seen Liberty play?
  8. I take it WOS has theirs returning as well. If so they probably ha the edge right now in being the most productive, because they have their qb returning. They are good no doubt. One thing I like though about the Tiger relievers we have returning is that you have a big sure handed go to receiver returning in Mackey. Then you have two that are a threat to take it to the house from anywhere on the field as well. One of which has very good size and strength as well. The difference between these two groups next year may very well come from the qb position and how well they get the ball to these recovers. The Tigers will start from behind in that respect. Not only will our receivers have to get accustomed to a new qb but they will be depending on a new offensive one to give that qb time to throw the ball. Add to that the fact that we don't know what our offense will be next year due to getting a new coach, and numbers wise right now would seem to end up in WOS favor.
  9. I agree with this. I do feel there are ways to play hard and let the opponent have some breathing room as well like stopping pressing but not turning the ball over on purpose or missing shots on purpose.
  10. That is a very sturdy limb, anything can happen but I think this will be 35+ and really want to say a little more but with almost a week off and being that first playoff game I will hold back a little!
  11. Yeah close but still not never!
  12. Exactly...never say never...we hav been there before!
