  1. Brady you have great points. AAU coaches like yourselves are great for these kids. Devoting your time and money and pushing these kids to be the best they can be is great. But, and you will have to answer this, how many of these summer coaches are like yourself and how many are there to maybe Coach their kids or other kids or even try to get a moment in the sun themselves by having success. I realize some of these high school coaches may be merely there for the job as well but many have just as much care for the kids as well. As far as the remarks about average AAU or High School Coaches, my interpretation would be that based on pure coaching ability. I am not a good evaluator of that but I know from seeing comments that there are some AAU coaches that have had very successful careers so I would put them on the top level just like Coaches like Sutherland locally or Boutte and so on. Those coaches at the top levels may be pretty even. When you get to the lnext level where coaches haven't really had success at the top and maybe don't have the coaching skills of these the above category, I would say may be the average coaches. For the most part I would think from that level the high school coaches would have the edge there based on their education and maybe experience. my opinions there are not a criticism of you or any other coach in particular just an overall observation. I could be wrong because I have very limited AAU experiences. With that said my hats off to the Coaches such as yourself that go the extra mile and devote large portions of your life helping these kids. I think that is one of the best things a person can do, help our youth to better themselves, keep them off the streets and give them goals to reach for.
  2. Not enough team has been caught twice. Brady caught cheating in the playoffs. I may be extreme but it should cost him the season. Make others think before doing it.
  3. I saw this in a video the other day. Pitch is made, runner takes off from 2nd trying to steal third. Catcher gets up and sidearms the ball towards third hitting the batter who is still in the same spot he was in in the batters box. What is the ruling?
  4. Smart definitely and that plays a big part. Floyd is definitely the better boxer. He beat Pac. He knows with a fighter like Pac that is very good it only takes one shot to knock Floyd out or stun him enough to cause a barrage to end it not likely but possible. From that standpoint why would he take that risk. It may never happen but two things may cause it to $$$$$ and pride resulting from the thoughts of beating him while injured. We know he listens to the $$$$ signs, we will just have to wait and see if either they or his pride speaks loud enough.
  5. This was an answer to your question why Pacquaio fought hurt.
  6. I don't know who you can trust if anyone. But if what was stated is true and he requested anti inflammatories before the fight for his shoulder it was already hurt but you very well could be right in that he may have been hurt but actually tore it during the fight. This by what they said would have probably happened in the third round so he was still injured the majority of it, if not all of it. Just for the record I am not much of a boxing fan these days. I don't really ever watch any fights. Haven't since Tysson and even really the Hagler days. I am just saying like I figured after the fight when the injury was announced that a rematch is quite possible for the $$$ and to put an end to any doubt.
  7. Not saying he won't, just questioning why he doesn't think it will happen. He is definitely the better boxer, but I do wonder how much differ it would be without that type of major injury.
  8. He made the statement already that he would face him after he has healed a year from now. As far as something to prove, if he feels people think his win was tainted then he may want to prove it wasn't. Besides if he fights in Sept. And wins then the rematch could give him that win that breaks Marcianos record, that he claims he doesn't care about.
  9. You know it's one thing for a high school team to suck at the ft line but the Rockets are ridiculous as a team, especially with Harden making nearly every one of his.
  10. The winner may be the same but if no big injuries I would expect more offense from Pacquiao, maybe still ineffective but maybe not. I doubt there would be as much hype but I bet it would still be pretty big.
  11. I am not enticed to spend money on it didn't the first time. Saw it online. I would like to know how it would go without major injuries. Still won't buy it.
  12. Why not? Yes they are getting to the ends of their careers. This one has been anticipated for years and now was affected by an injury that definitely limited one. Now as far as them agreeing, not sure as much trouble as they had this time. But I know all that money is definitely enticing. I would be interested in how the numbers would compare.
  13. I have to say I am definitely not an AAU expert by any means having only seen a few tourneys this year. But from what I have seen, I wouldn't think the average aau coach is on the same level as the averag high school coach. Now the top level coaches I don't know. But as far as average I just don't think they would have the same education or experience that a high school coach has. Like was said they don't necessarily have to be as good to benefit the players in big ways. The players get exposure and the benefit of playing time and seeing other competition, those pay off.
  14. I don't think anyone said its different now, maybe they were expecting Pac to force it into being different but it didn't happen. Maybe he would have had a chance to make it different if his shoulder wasn't hurt, if that is true. Fact is just like I have alluded to Mayweather used the exact style I would use if I was him. Like he said this is boxing not fighting, slugging etc. look at football or basketball years ago, slower more deliberate, today's games are more fun to watch but those styles can still be effective. Just like pure boxing can be nod Floyd is definitely the best boxer.
  15. Probably not, for him to have won it would have had to have been a different style fight or he would have had to knock mayweather out.
  16. Sooner or later if he were to continue for a while it would happen, if he continued to face the top talent. Age has to catch up sometime.
  17. I didn't say it will happen just that there are those who want to see it.
  18. Noo one does but there is another reason people watch, they want to see someone pound him.
  19. Their were some interesting reasons given for his last night by commentators one was him doing it so he doesn't have to give all the federations cuts from his next and supposed to be last match.
  20. Why? Several reasons hype, people either love or hate him, wanting to see him get beat, and simply wanting to see one of the best ever. It's boring just like a 1-0 baseball game where there are only a couple base runners by each side. Boring to many but loved by pitchers and their fans.
  21. I agree, pretty boring but definitely effective. He does bring a little similarity to Leonard in his showmanship and movement. This was really my first of his fights to watch and that's who came to mind fairly quickly. His style is probably the smartest and most effective way to go about it.
  22. Now with this shoulder injury talk will that spurn a rematch, Floyd didn't say no in his news conference.
