Looks like "Real" basketball is played in Dallas not Houston!!!! ;D ;D

Good post whsalum.  I would love to have seen if my Tigers defense and speed could have gotten to them.  WE still would have had to play very good on the offensive end.

I would have liked my Tigers chances.  Playing our defense making  Argyle feel pressure. I saw some of the first half and it liked at times that they were going a little too fast for their preference.  Miller let then off the  hookat the time with some shots that were  hurried. Keep your composure, play good offense, and rebounds.  With our defense it could have been a good game. With a possible Tiger win.

Maybe one of them knew how to play real basketballthis wouldn't have been such a nailbiter!

There may be more talent in those games but it doesn't make it anymore real basketball.  Heck rhert may not even be as competetive as the other games.  I remember past conversations about pressing not being a part of the game at the college or pro levels so how then can a Yates game  be more 'real' basketball.

[/quote] They definitely won both games.  And my Tigers shouldn't have been in a position to lose at the end,  but losing at least a 2 point lead on what was a missed call with 10 seconds to play makes it hard to say the better team won.

[/quote] Yes I knew that was what you meant but what I was getting at is the advantage Yates has in the numbers allowing them to put him in that position.  They may have 3A or even 4A numbers in attendance but with open enrollment in Houston.  They are pulling players from numbers higher than even 5A.

Broadcast mentionong La Vega wanting a tough warm up game not simply a team that was going to give them a lead..  No mention of the two games they played last weekend.

Exactly...Yates through open enrollment may only have 3A numbers but they are drawing players from a huge number of students.  It may be legal but its hardly an even playing field.

Lots of just thrown up shots..then 3 on 1 and can't score!! PASS!!
