1. Don't forget the Sealy team that beat the Tigers last year.  They have practically their whole team back.
2. My almost 300 pics under my feeder in a week before seasom is noe down to 2 pics last week. I have another cam on the other side of my stand that I will check after hunting.
3.

Nash I'm saying HJ will beat most of the teams they play this year.
I hope you are right
When has HJ not beaten MOST of their opponents? I dont remember any losing season? 8)
4. Had to miss friday, can't wait for this game.  Will be the best team the Tigers have faced.  Hopefully I will be on time ti see the jv and the transfer that will join the varsity soon.
5. Tigers definitely need to shoot the long ball better than tonight and need to get better on the boards.  The good thing on the long ball was they were better the first twon games.  Tonights game reminded me more of the Kelly game although the score isn't to indicative of it.  It was sloppy overall and a lot of missed opportunities on the offensive side.
6. Hunting in woodville. I have a group of four does and yearlings that are regulars . In the last week only they were only under the feeder twice. This week I will get a better idea as I have put my wifes camera on the other side of my stand.
7. Went up this morning and pics have now gone down for around 300 a week before season to 24 last week with maybe 2 during daylight hours.  Corn piling up under feeders where that never happens due to hogs.  Not even many of them.
8.
same for hj
Both teams are young although HJ's two seniors are big.  Kelton is a big part the Tigers as well.
9. Not sure about the two players Silsbee will have later in the year but the roster lasy friday only had two seniors. Kelton Gaines and a reserve.
10. Way to go Ozen. I knoe the last few years Brenham has had some good teams,, what is the farthest they have gone?
11. Most of hardin county can't wait for that game, but our Tigers need to keep working and improving because HJ is very tough this year.
12. Not all the time.  When it happens there are early games in both gyms.  I have heard from a couple different people that the district changed back to playing boys and girls at opposite sites, however the schedules here put both girls and boys district games at the same location. So I am not sure.
13.
The Tigers did look really good lastnight, but they still have some work to do.I was really impressed with the coaching as well. The guys played as a team. I agree Da'Vaughn Thomas will be a great addition to the team. He has a great vision for the floor, and he does get really excited to assist his team mates in scoring. He had 13 pts,10 assists, and 7 rebounds.I believe he vibes well with the team, and they know if they get open he will send the ball their way. He has recovered well from his injury, but still has to get a little more strength in his legs so that we can see some dunks!!Way to go Tigers!!!
Couldn't agree more. Definitely some work to be done.  We can't keep having these slow starts. I also can't wait to see what these other two transfers will bring to the team. I heard one looked real good during the jv game last night.  I didn't get to see that one as I didnt know the  girls played before the guys.
14. A good win for the tigers tonight.  They looked a lot better tonight.  Tigers newcomer Da'Vaughn Thomas is going to be a great addittion to this team.  He seems to get more excited when getting the ball to his teammates than when he scores himself.  He made several impressive passes tonight along with some good defensive play and hussle.  Kelton Gaines showed why he will be a leader on this team tonight with some great play offensively and defensively.  He led the Tigers Tonight with either 22 points.  Chris Elam had 15, Da'Vaughn had 13, Jordan Holmes had 10, Danti' Wilson had 9,  Jacob Dobbins had 6,  LaDavian Barnes and Zayon Jackson each had 2.  The Tigers were 9 of 14 from the free throw line in the first half and 5 of 8 in the second for an overall night of 14 for 22 (63.6%) from the stripe.  Overall not a bad second game and a pretty nice crowd as well. The Tigers hit 8 3's tonight.
15. Tihers come out quick in second half again. Increase lead to 42-33.
16. At the half Tigers lead 36-31. Seeing some good play and passes from newcomer Da'Vaughn Jackson. Tigers led by Holmes with 10, Elam with 10 and Thomas with 6.
