1. Offenses churning right now 21-14 3  minutes left in third
 2. Kelton Gaines td run makes it 14-0. 6 minutes left in half
 3. I could be wrong but I believe one or maybe even both will score 30 or more.
And yet there in lies the answer to your question. Silsbee and WOS were the only two schools that did not want the 7pm games. All the other 21-3A schools wanted the 7pm games. It was the same for the girls and boys basketball games from last year. Silsbee and WOS did not want the change, the others did.
After seeing the schedules,  thats what i figured.
No. 21-3A district games will be 7pm, non district still at 7:30pm. There will be some other area games this week that play at 7pm though.
It appears all the schools as individuals want the 7:30 start time based on nondistrict times. Then why as a whole do the games start at 7 for district?

Too many weapons on both teams!
Silsbee has't quite seen a D like Newton will bring Friday.
I won't disagree with that, but still don't think it will be a close low scoring game.  One or both of these offenses will score enough  points to kep that from happening.

 9.
HJ has nothing on Silsbee's recruiting....you know that...
Nothing on Silsbee's recruiting, hmmm let's see: Silsbee one transfer from Port Arthur,  HJ one recruit from a San Diego camp.  Looks to me like HJ has a much bigger recruiting budget than the Tigers!!
 10. lt wouldn't be funny, it would only mean a few schools finally had more money to pay off the refs than HJ had.
 11. What happened last year is  not enough reason to name someone the starter this year.  Neither is how highly one was recruited or especially the performance in one game with the weather conditions that were present saturday night.  The starter this year should be picked by weighing all of these along with a large consideration to performances in practices and scrimmages.
 12. No HJ is definately the heavy favorite!!!
 13. Worst part of a Tiger football game......that #@&@ fight song borrowed from slum u!
 14. Yes the Tigers were good back then but to say they would have win  even one state title in 3A is  asinine.  The best team we had during  those years lost in the first round to a team that wouldn't have even sniffed Austinin3A!
 15. We had our can't mis last year,  this year HJ has the can't miss.......
 16. I have plenty of faith in those involved just hope it all ends the way it is hoped.
 17. so the rumored possibility is going to be the reality.  Hopefully it will work out in the best possible way for the Tigers!
Whoever the coach will be will have to wait till football season is over to really get to see the team. This year, at least 85% of the varsity basketball team will play football, including the transfers. Of the top 12 players on varsity, 10 will be playing football.
barring That should be at least a couple of rounds into the playoffs, barring a suprise.
 19.
transfers or no transfers silsbee is going to be very good just like they are every other year.  remember for the last 5 years people have said HJ was going to have a down year.  A down year for a program like Silsbee is make a deep run in the playoffs so transfers are irrelevant.
We had a good year last year but a very very short playoff run.....

 21.
Dove there is no need to worry.  There is a reason the kid from PA is moving and trust me he will fight the same issues in silsbee as he did in PA.  Also, we will SEE if the NO thing happens.  Highly doubtful  ;)
And why do you feel it is highly doubtful?
