1. Depends on how well the new starters and back ups play. They have the ability just need to perform. With that being said,  there are still some tough teams to get by before state.

3.
HJ in a game much closer than most expect.  But I am looking forward to it being the first game that I broadcast on setxsports.com this year for my Hawks!!!!!
Only reason it may be close, is that it will be so soon after football season!  I would be suprised if it would be a close game further into the season.
4.
Hardin Jefferson by 20
or more!!!!
5. We have a lot of work to do to beat a very good offensive Huffman team.
6. No we go as long as we win and OF doesn't win by exactly 4 pts. If that happens I don't know how the tiebreakers work.
7. It wouldn't be the first time I disagreed with Tiger coaches.
8. I wouldn't agree with us going for it in that sutuation either.
9. Yes and the way we have performed at times that game has to be taken seriously.
10. Point diff between these 3 would put Silsbee in unless OF wins by exactly 4 then I don't know what would happen.
11. If Of wins by 4 the point diff would all be 0, wouldn't it leaving them all tied by that as well.
12. So as long as Silsbee wins they should be in and OF has to win by 5 or more to knock BC out. And if they win by 4 there is a heck of a mess.
13. If OF pulled off the upset then there should be a 3 way tie for 2 spots between these 2 and Silsbee. Who does the tiebreakers favor?
14. And sorry but I still won't agree with going for it that late in the game. Defense is WOS pride and they were doing a great job last night. The Tigers had as much of a chance at that point as Dallas does winning the superbowl. Maybe WOS would not have scored on "purpose". However unless the time was going to run out, I can't see the Mustangs changing anything they were doing to keep from scoring.
15. No, this happened to be the one friday in two years I had to work late.
16. Didn't deny that. That comment was just concerning speed. WOS was the better team.
17. Good athletes yes. There were many on the field. Team wise the Tigers haven't been as impressive as was expexted so far. I remember someone stating in the WOS/Orangefield thread that you couldn't compoare the speed between WOS and Silsbee. I didn't see that much difference overall. The big difference seemed to be controlling the line of scrimmage. Now remember I didn't see the first half when all the scoring took place.
18. No need for ball control with a 28 pt lead and less than 5 minutes to play.
19. Yes you are correct they didn't throw the ball. They didn't need to. We couldn't stop the run. But going for it on 4th at that time was going to far.
20.
Trust me, wos is on a mission now. By the way, silsbee players playing dirty now. No need for that.
Got to this one at halftime.  WOS was definitely the better team.  Heard from fans there that we didn't turn the ball over tonight like we had been doing. I know there  was a INT.  As far as Silsbee playing dirty, that is BS. I did see  retaliation from Tiger players after some questionable play from WOS players. WOS had one player tossed for such dirty play.  You could see WOS was the more physical team.  Several times you saw this continued even after the whistle.  No not all of them were penalty worthy but some were questionable.  Earlier this year,  I defended WOS from acvcusations of running up the score,  but WOS definitely lost my repect in that aspect tonight.  With less than 5 minutes to go and a 28 point lead,  going for it on 4th down on your own side of the field is attempting to run up the score.  That was completely unneeded.  Couldn't be happier when the Tigers stuffed that attempt.  WOS has a good team, not sure how far they will go.  Keep your heads up Tigers and finish the regular season with a good game next friday.
