2. Might as well be! No offense to BS.  I have just heard the Tigers schedule is kind of weak this year. Haven't seen it yet though. We are in 2 tourneys we shouldn't be in.

Haven't seen a true great back since Spearman and Mark Farr. Of course I didn't see the Tigers play for like 7 years.
Silsbee has a freshman QB and RB that IMO will start next year on varsity. The RB is another Spearman, Floyd Spearman. The QB could be another Jeremy Johnson. He is already '6"2 and plays like JJ.
Hmm is this one of that freshman bball team?  If so what are the chances he ends up on the varsity this year?
Not likely, but maybe for playoffs.
About what I thought good to see a little height coming up though.

5. Must be a newbie from Huffman!! This could be their best chance yet to finally getting a win against the Tigers.
6. I don't think Silsbee players have thought there was a "slim" chance. They know they can compete with WOS most of the time. Let's hope the Tiger's can make a game of it this year.
7. Bh-92 WOS won't be saying here come Huffman unless Silsbee is upset by Hamshire-Fannet both Huffman and Silsbee will be the big schools out of their districts and play for the third year in a row otherwise.
8. I don't know what the district rules are but in that case I think the only tiebreaker meaning anything would be WOS victory over BC. Silsbee would be big school. WOS top seed in small school. All 3 co-district champs. Not very likely though.
9. These rankings have to be taken with a grain of salt. HJ deserves to be ranked high, as does Cleveland. It does seem like the Tigers always start the year ranked lower than they deserve. Not sure if this is the case this year or not after losing two 6'6" players.  But over the last several years it seems no matter who we are returning we receive a lower ranking than I would expect.
10. Stats were about what I expected. The Tigerrs did a great job limiting turnovers and penalties last night as well as a great job stoping the run. Our secondary has to start playing better with a first round playoff matchup with pass heavy Huffman looming in the future(barring a huge upset by HF).
11. This was a game HJ wasn't "supposed" to have a chance at. They lead for most of three quarters. Their defende stopped those drives deep in their territory. This time it wasn't our mistakes helping them get the stop. The Tiger's offense did enough to stay with them for those 3 quarters but should have done more. Our defense gave up too many big plays, third and long, conversions among them. For those reasons, I feel HJ outplayed us for most of the night or maybe performed to the higher level compared to expectations than the Tigers did. We did keep them off the scoreboard in the second half but a lot of that was due to turnovers, some of those were forced. The fourth quarter was the Tigers, and a lot of it was in heart alone. Some of our stars including both RBs were exhausted yet both made big runs. Great way to pull out a win by the Tigers and great game by the Hawks.
12. I don't know if "Silsbee Hangs On!" is a good title.  That gives the picture of being ahead and surviving a comeback.  We trailed most of this game.  I felt we were really outplayed for almost all of the game.  The only time we stopped HJ's passing game was when the QB underthrew the receiver and we made the INT, and when we got him under pressure and he tried to make a play.  Great Job HJ.  The Tigers did a much better job holding onto the ball.  I can only remember one interception.  May have been another TO but I don't remember them.  We had two drives stopped inside the ten.  We really miss not having a kicker.  I will be interested in seeing the stats.
13. Tigers rush qb force him back and into a fumble take over at HJ 45
14. They had 2nd or 3rd and 16 needed to get it manageable been killing the Tigers through the air and now doing it on the ground.
15. Hawks lead 20-16 8 minuted left Hawks first and 15 from Tigers 36
16. Tigers may have one turnover tonight not what's hurting.  Secondary not playing well.
17. Hawks outplaying the Tigers. Making the plays when they need to.
18. Tigers drive stopped on 5 yd line 49 seconds left in third same score.
