Wow tough to hear. I lost my grandmother to a stroke earlier this year. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Henry family. -

I wasn't there but probably the best one I would have liked to see was Tyler John Tyler, I believe, not sure who they were playing. A playoff game I am pretty sure. I remember hearing about it on the radio. They were trailing by 2 or 3 scores late. Scored and recovered after each one to take lead. Last part I am not sure I remember right but I thought they kicked the last one off and it was returned for a TD. -
Silsbee's biggest weekness the last few years has been stopping running qbs. This year we can't stop the run period. I'm thinking we need to go ahead and pull up some of the hosses from the JV squad. Picking BC by 10-14 but Silsbee has the ability to outscore them in a shootout. Hope they do.
Some of the JV players have already been pulled up. They were on the sideline last week. I know one saw the field not sure about any others.

Yeah I thought it was more than 9 myself but Boogy you gave that number so I was commenting off of it.
-
Silsbee just turns the ball over too much. They have 9 for the year in 6 games. Far far too many for a BC team with this talent
1.5 turnovers a game is not that many in high school football. Can they be a difference..sure...but its not a large number.

Tough question numerous good ones: two that come to mind the 2004 Silsbee-Jasper game and last years playoff loss to Navasota. Thats just the ones that come to mind, lots of other good ones. Oh wait last years win over WOS was pretty good too. 8) haha -
I don't think it was WOS running up the score. I think his point is the team with the knowledge ran up the score.
-
then how did that result in turning a close game to a 20 point game? Sorry desperation, to me comes from being at least a couple scores down with little time left. If you are close(1 score) then the desperation should only come on your last possesion.

Based on the Tiger's run defense woes I would have to make BC a slight favorite. However, the Tiger's explosiveness can counter that quickly. The schedules of these two so far are interesting. Not sure which way to go with some of the Tiger's opponents. Victories over Waltrip, Jasper and Cleveland. None of these teams have been very impressive. Losses to Lumberton and Newton both of whom seem to be inconsistent. The OF win was tough, not quite sure how they stack up yet either based on their schedule alone. They gave the Tigers all they could handle. BC's schedule so far hasn't been too tough either. With the exception of Kirbyville. A game where I was impressed by the Cardinals but it was a 20 point loss. Vidor was another good win but the verdict is still out on them as well. BC has won the games they should win. The Tigers have as well, but I felt they maybe should have gotten at least one of the two that they lost. If the Tigers put a complete game together they will hand BC their second loss, otherwise it will be a hard fought close game.
20 point loss due to becoming desperate in the 4th.... BC wins this game.
why did they become desperate they were right ther the whole time until the end.

Cayuga has 10 players listed on the uil website from last years team that could return this year. 5 that were freshmen, 1 sophomore, and 4 juniors. Not sure how many playedmuch of a part on the team last year. As Favre throws a game ending pick 6. -

Does Cayuga have much of a team returning this year? If so, depending on what else is going on that night, I may have to go watch HJ and Cayuga. -
Who would have thought the new world order would be directly tied to the order of finish in 21 aaa.
Yes as long as the Tigers finish first the world will survive otherwise prepare yourself!!!
2006-2008 hj and silsbee played each other second game 2008-2010 hj and silsbee played each other last game 2010-2012 hj and silsbee play each other first game only fair way for every team is to draw the order like the district does
Can't argue with that. It just seems it would be easiest when the teams remain the same for the schedules to remain the same.
-
it is not the district's job to determine what may be the best games in a district schedule it is their job to draw an order of district games and then align volleyball and football district games and so on
Then that would bring the point of having the same schools in the distict back in play. Since all remained the same why change any schedules?? It doesn't matter. In basketballs case, if things happen like they have in the past and H-J and Silsbee split and ended up tied for first, it would prevent the two from having to play two games back to back at the end of the year. It would spread out the 4 possible games.
-
I knew that was probably why. :)
-
No I wasn't talking about the order the locations. We play the same teams atb home and away with WOS being the only exception.
-
Definately I already found it interesting that the football schedule was the same as last year as far as home and away, with one exception, WOS.
-
Yeah it just seens they would want that matchup last.
-
I had heard that they switched HJ to first. I wonder what their reasoning was.

That makes sense. These polls don't really mean a whole lot anyway. It is great to get recognised. You would think with the Tigers record the last several years they would get a little more repect statewide though.
