1.
it is not the district's job to determine what may be the best games in a district schedule it is their job to draw an order of district games and then align volleyball and football district games and so on
Then that would bring the point of having the same schools in the distict back in play.  Since all remained the same why change any schedules??  It doesn't matter. In basketballs case, if things happen like they have in the past and H-J and Silsbee split and ended up tied for first, it would prevent the two from having to play two games back to back at the end of the year. It would spread out the 4 possible games.
2. No I wasn't talking about the order the locations. We play the same teams atb home and away with WOS being the only exception.
3. Definately I already found it interesting that the football schedule was the same as last year as far as home and away, with one exception, WOS.
4. Yeah it just seens they would want that matchup last.
5. I had heard that they switched HJ to first. I wonder what their reasoning was.
6. That makes sense. These polls don't really mean a whole lot anyway. It is great to get recognised.  You would think with the Tigers record the last several years they would get a little more repect statewide though.
7. Thanks for the post.  I made the statement on the other site so I will make it here.  Their logic is hard to understand,  they have    H-J ranked higher than Silsbee, yet they have the Tigers picked as the district favorite?????
8. I wasn't trying to compare the speed of WOS to Silsbee. You would have thought however that the Tigers had enough speed to keep OF in check. Speed was not enough to do it. Now do I think WOS defense will handle the OF offense better. Heck yeah, the Tigers can't stop anyones rushing game this year.
9. The officials were horrible for both sides on some calls that were or could have been very costly.
10. Those two injuries could be huge for the BC defense against the Tiger recievers. Its the Tiger D that is a concern.
11. Speed won't keep OF from running. Ask the Tigers about that one. However there is no doubt in my mind at this poin that the Mustangs defense is playing way better than the Tigers. I look for this game to be an comfortable win for the mustangs but not near the blowout you are predicting.
12. After hearing about this, I can understand the score. WOS had to work on their offense with a new QB and did so while making major substitutions it sounds like plus the last 17 points came understandibly, from these accounts. The Mustangs had to get back on a winning feeling after it hadn't really been there the last 3 weeks.
13. That's the big question can the Tigers finally stop the run. If not we will have to have no turnovers because it will be another shootout. Right now BC has to be the favorite.
14. The Tigers defense was definately on the field too much and wrapping up is an issue both on D and special teams. However our problems stopping the run go deeper than just that. Size on the line is an issue. Last night an issue was seemed to be figuring out just who had the ball. Misdirection hurt the Tigers big time.
15. Orangefield played one heck of a game. Never gave up after being down 14-0.  tigers turnovers and bad snaps were once again a major factor,  but the run defense is a greater concern.  I missed the first game but have been to every one since and have not seen good run defense yet.  Small defensive line is part of the problem.  OF did a real good job at disguising who had the ball and kept the Tigers off balance most of the night.  Referee's were definitely pretty weak.  Missed the shuffle pass, missed a block in the back on the last play that really could have been a game changer.  The Tiger's were realy confused as to what to do with 12 seconds left facing 4th and a mile.  Since the sidelines are so close to the stands you can hear a lot that is going on.  It seemed like the punt team was going in and then with about 20 seconds left on the play clock they start calling for the offense.  They got on to the field and got the snap off. I am not sure a play was ever actually called,  McDaniel ran around the left end and was tackled with 2 seconds left to give OF one last try.  They dropped back to pass and then the QB took off, an obviuos block in the back was missed but he was tackled anyway.  I also feel the refs missed a Tiger procedure penalty on one of the big play TD's. A win for the Tiger's and a well played tough loss for the Bobcats.
16.

That isn't even a funny thought!!
You gotta admit though it would make them an instant contender LOL.
Probably so!
17. Tigers run offensive play OF gets one chamce from 25 runs down to Tiger 30 refs miss block in back to end game
18. 1:07 left 2nd and 4. OF one TO left. Bad snap 3rd and 22 1:01 left
19. OF recovers ball but player had kicked ball twice downing it for tthe Tigers at 41. McDaniel runs for first down.
20. I don't know what the answer is but we better figure out a way to stop the run. TD with 1:25 left conversion 38-34 missed PAT onside kick coming
