1. You just said it Cleveland is basically the same team. I will never count out my Tigers or even the Hawks but neither of us are returning the same team like they are. I think they may lose one starter that was a movein last year. The Tigers and Hawks both lost some key players we will have to replace.
 2. Oh I know they will be good but shame on AAW for picking them instead of the Tigers or even the hawks, I guess. :)

1.HJ/Silsbee-These 2 will play a tie breaker for seeding after splitting home and away. 3.WOS- A young energetic coach is dangerous with a stable full of Mustangs. 4.OF- Close but no cigar. 5.BC-May play spoiler for the third playoff spot. 6.HF-Bluedove endures another warm up year for the eventual state champs. DC Stallworth will be my pre season pick to be the MVP. Sutherland will be the OPY. We will all get to go to Sam Houston again for a regional final to see which Hardin county club goes to Austin.dang, I'm ready to get this started.
As hard as it is for me to say this, but I think Cleveland finally breaks through this year and wins the regional championship.
Shame on you!!!
 4.
I do know that most football players take about a month to get into basketball playing shape when they come in for football so if the workouts are the same then why do the football guys struggle?  No one has said not to lift, just why would you max on game day?  Basketball workouts are not about the max weight, its about getting quicker, jumping higher, and working on your skill set such as free throws, ball handling etc.  It has nothing to do with grass drills and such.  If it is such a great idea then on Friday afternoon go to your field house and be a spotter while they max out on weights.  You will have easy job cause no one will be there.  It's funny, I grew up in basketball country and it is the total opposite as far as positions.  Most schools have separate position for AD.  Of course an AD wants success as long as it does not overshadow their program.
Now that is definately a statement I agree with.
 5.

I listed several schools above... I believe one of them even has a state championship a few years ago.  LOL the poor little pity party continues.
That statment shows you have no ideal what you are talking about. My wifes nephew was the leader on that team and my son played on the 2000 team for Evadale and I know they never touch a weight during BB season. And I know the 3 coaches that took the EC teams to the state games, and they never lifted during the season. So you need to get you fact stright before you make a statment like that. This Topic is about offseason football workouts during BB season, and you still have not proven were it has help any team. If you are OK with having a average team in every sport and going 1 or maybe 2 games into the playoffs thats fine, but some wont to have verygood team and make several trips to Austin. JMO for what is worth.
Maybe tigerguy is wrong,  I have no idea whgat goes on during the season at any school.  However you Truly Clueless have no business at all to tell anyone to get their facts straight.  When you have proven you seldom know the facts.
 6. You are right DC is an all aound player. He hasn't been a big scorer however I have a feeling this year he will play a larger role in that department.
 7.
Well lets see WOS and Silsbee score last year 44 to 58 then 49 to 59 and Sislbee won both but that is not what I would call a dominating score. And no one cares what happen 10 years ago. And I think you have not watched HJ s JV play they are playing in the summer league games and they are pretty good They played HFs V and played them realy close.  But you are right they prob. cant beat that many Vrs teams  but that pick makes as much since as picking HJ last
Once again that shows how Truly Clueless you are,  you can't eeven look the scores up accurately. Those are the second and third game scores the Tigers beat the Mustangs 81-59 in Orange the first time they played last year.  Making the Tigers 3-0 against the Mustangs last year so no the two teams were not that close.
 8.

HJ WOSSilsbee OFBCHF
Silsbee brings back a talented group headed by Stallworth, and WOS loses their coach...not sure I understand this one
If Silsbee is bring back a talented group they must not be playing summer league I have seen them play 3 times and have not seen much. And WOS had a few real good Jr last year. That is what I am basing my pick on. If Silsbee has players that are not playing this summer, I might be wrong. But just like everyear it will be close between these 3, and they are just a little better then the rest of the teams. JMO And ST413 is a fool HJ can play their jv and beat most of these teams.
My "prediction" was no more than a joke as some of my H-J counterparts would recognize.  The only foolish prediction I have seen has to be yours.  You have no clue about Silsbee basketball if you think we will be weak.  I haven"t seen the Tigers play this summer but I know they have two of the top players in district returning as well as a third who might be in that list.  I know one of them hasn't been playing in the summer and doubt another has either.  There are also two more of our top players who may be tied into football activities right now.  So with  making a prediction like yours without knowing all the facts maybe you should change your name to Truly Clueless.
 9.
Great news!  Scares like that are always an eye opener.  The majority of us could use some of the weight loss, exercise and better diets.
I guess I should have said all things considered that is great news.  Diabetes is nothing to fool around with.
 10. Great news!  Scares like that are always an eye opener.  The majority of us could use some of the weight loss, exercise and better diets.
 11. Thanks for the update.  Looking forward to seeing Mike on the golf course again soon.
 12. Thank you. I am sure it is tuesday evenings right?
 13. Where are these games being played?
 14. I believe the player you are referring to has been mentioned.  I believe that player is Persohn. May be off on that name a little.
 15. Great win for Coach K!! Great game for Butler!!  Great game period!!
 16. Wow what a great game for Butler even with the loss..
 17.
How can anybody not like Duke??????  Oh let me guess.......... ::) ::) ::) ::)
How can you not want the upset for the little guy?
 18. If you take the best 5 out of any school for the most part they would be able to compete with just about any other school in the area. And I am not sure these would be the best the Tigers have had not a bad list but somewhat of a recent flavor.
 19. HJ played 40 this year. If we would have had to played a tie breaker it would have been 41.So this year they could have played as many as 43. The tournaments they play allow a large amount of games to be played so not quite impossible. Just not likely.
