2.

I guarantee two things.........HJ will have more than 24 wins and way less than 9 losses!!!!!
I concur.
Yeah, they always do.  Thanks to their weak schedule... :D :D
 3.

Yeah but we still have all the bragging rights right now: lead the series 7-6, reigning district champs, reigning regional champs and won 2 out of 3 this year. :)
Yes you do...I see your 2 regional championships, and raise you 2 regional championships and a state championship.... :o All in all we have been taking turns going to the state tournament for the last four years....not too shabby for either clubs.
Yeah yeah but all of yours and one of ours is past history.  The rest of ours is current at least until each part changes next year... ;)
 4. Silsbee has always stayed fairly consistent in basketball maybe not quite like the last 4 years but has almost always been one of the best teams in the area.
 5. Hey in all honesty my obvously better was just giving you or Lazeek a hard time.
 6. Yeah but we still have all the bragging rights right now: lead the series 7-6, reigning district champs, reigning regional champs and won 2 out of 3 this year. :)
 7. Way to go DC.  Congratulations to all.
 8.
I didn't realize until the first Silsbee/HJ game how good a player DC Stallworth is.He is the real deal and a huge head start for next years Tigers. The vote between Avory and Jacolby had to a close one,two different kind of defenders and both very deserving.Turner is as quick as any defender I've seen in this area.
Yes he is.  We Tiger fans won't miss him  ;),  but Hj fans sure will.  He was fun to watch even though he may have given me high blood pressure from time to time. :D
 9.
Cogratulations everyone.  Way to go DC.  You are truly fun to watch and most deserving.  Continue to work hard and th sky is the limit.  I am looking forward to watching you and Prentice lead this team next year.  And a special congratulations to Avory Thomas.  You improved tremendously from last year to this year.  Your defense gave opponents nightmares when it came time for them to go to the rim. You,  Pheal, and Sweet will be missed by all of us fans and your teammates.  You and Pheal are the only seniors from Silsbee to reach Austin twice...a great accomplishment.  AAW I would tend to agree with Prudhomme and I would think Kelton Gaines shouldn't be too far behind.
Let me add DC and Prentice you have a chance to one up Avory and Pheal by getting back to Austin next year making it 3 times with one state title. ;) ;D
 10.
only thing i wouldve changed is pheal being a first teamer
And he probably would have been if he had not missed 6 district games.
 11.
I too also believe that Avory getting defensive POY is dead on. He ended the season with 200 block shots, school record.
I remember before the season everyone was predicting the best big man in the district to be between Ricossa and Davis.  I know Phillip had a hard time with his knees but Avory went out and had a huge year that not many were expecting from him.  He held his own offensively and did great on the boards.  The blocks speak for themselves especially staying out of foul trouble almost every game.

 13. Why won't the state let them or have they asked?
 14.
Does Silsbee have a chance of going to Austin? Only if they: a) move to another region. or b) move to another class. Oh wait.  There's also c) If HJ moves to another region or d) If HJ moves to another class. :D
Yeah maybe HJ should go back to 4A I bet it would be a lot more quiet in here then.... :D :D
 15. Yep. Two years in a row I feel Silsbee could have got the job done. One big upset and a close semifinal loss.
 16. Or a hungry Cleveland but the Tigers are just as hungry. They still haven't got what they want!!
 17. They also know there has been more than one player quit. Enough said from me.
 18. I will never name any player on here for something such as that. Any info I have been given came from someone tied to the team. For you to bring up a players name is sad. Jeremy has been great for Silsbee and I would never suggest otherwise.
 19.
Walker getting the MVP is very well deserved.
Definitely,  Bray is good but Walker has the best all-around game.
 20. It may not have been meant that way but to me a UIL all century team should just be based on high school. If based on other criteria it should just be Texas All-Cetury team.
 21. He had better stats than a couple players on there. Look at the divisions there were several players between the classes not in the finals.

MOST of the Silsbee contingent probably realize that fact...Its just a few others that always try to come up with some great conspiracy theory as to why some teams do what they do in the playoffs.  Hey, Lubbock Estacado played great and got the job done....Dallas Madison made it back to the championship game which is an accomplisment in itself...It is just that...no excuses...Its these message board "experts" with all of these "conclusions" that I have issue with right now...I asked if there was any proof of any wrong doing and the answer was no....Then I asked who they had concerns or had drawn "conclusions" about and why, and still have received no feedback.  If you lose in the regionals, the first round or the state finals, please do not try to "conclude" that others have to cheat to accomplish what they have.
I don't think the two I believe you are referring to here are actually part of your o called "Silsbee contingent".  I believe they ar actually fans of other teams.  I do think they had stated that thy thought the Tigers had a good shot at winning it all though.
I do realize that...From what I have seen on here the Silsbee faithful  pull for their guys and when its all over they will give credit where it is due, and move on. For the most part....There are others on here that continue to attempt to persecute and/or find reasons for others success....i.e. "conclusions" about "recruiting" players and such....Its not a huge deal, I am just clarifying my statement to you. I see who it is and who its not, and I really just want to know why it has to be that way with them.
Fair enough.  It is hard to move on this year especially.  The last time we were in Austin when Kennedale beat us the biggest difference to me seemed to be size.  They were the better team, don't get me wrong,  but  they were shooting over top of us and altering our shots due to their size. Not to mention rebounding.  This year we had a team that wasn't going to be put in that position.  Our size matched up with any 3A team out there and we had skills to go with that height.  So our fans had big expectations.  The boys played their hearts out.  They played like champions unfortunately,  Madison played better thursday and now we can only speculate. No one is more proud of them than I am.  I am not a relative, a school official or even a close personal friend of any of them although  friends with some of the familie due to the number of games my wife and I attend.  I doubt there is anyone aside from maybe AAW and some of the families that has seen them play the last two or three years as much as we have.  I feel for them,  I know how bad they wanted it but they have every reason to be proud.  Their record the last few years speaks for itself.  I know of 1 other team that has been as consistent the last 4 years.  The other 3  teams in Austin may have been as well.  Well no Stafford can't be because we beat them in the second or third round the last year they were in region 3.  We fans know the Tigers had the talent to win it all but we also know the team that played the best in Austin was Estacado. As far as any of these other allegations it doesn't matter,  you have to beat the opponent in front of you.
