6. Saw some last night will be there tonight unless something changes.  I don't feel like driving to Dayton,  especially in this weather.
7.
As of 9:00am, there was not even an issue of moving the game to another night, according to Coach Sutherland.  It hadn't been considered.  The forecast doesn't call for snow right now.  I don't see the temps falling more than 36 degrees as of this time.
As of 4:30 according to radar snow line is from just below huntington across to just below Huntsville about New Waverly.
8. No the twins for Silsbee are only juniors. Only seniors Hill,Jones, thomas, Lockett and Simmons.
9. Yates is not a team you wanted to play in a warm up. They cause too much chaos leaving a team unsure of itself.
10. Not saying they would need to call every foul. I saw many that were pushes not light ones even saw one player hit the deck hard after a push that wasn't seen. I am just saying if the game is called real tight limiting Yates press a team could have a little hope.
11. I believe that after tonight.
12. Yates is very legit.  They create utter chaos in the oppoosing team.  The other team is unsure of itself quickly.  They jumped out 12-0 real quick and Sterling had chances to score. It wasn't that they never got to their end of the court.
13. I am not touching the subject just thought it was suprising to run into someone I had never met but yet knew. .
14. That would be the one.
15. Yeah,  I don't feel HJ's game will be very good but after a late night tonight,  I may want a close one tomorrow.  Would like to see Coldspring and get an idea what we could face.
16. Yeah you better get well before thursday.
17. Lets just say most on here don't want to remember him......and others enjoyed the pots he stirred.
18. If the games are played tomorrow which game will you attend?  I am debating between WOS/Coldspring and HJ/Tarkington.  I am sure the WOS game will be the better of the two but with  the weather and just the difference in travel distance,  I am leaning towards HJ's game.

20. Oh and by the way,  I wore my Tigers gear and at half time I was approached and a man introduced himself to me that many of you on here will remember.  I was a little suprised.
21. Well, I made the trip to Houston today to see Yates.  I was impressed.  When I think of a press,  I picture it more like Silsbee or HJ play it here, trapping when given the opportunity.  While this is a part of Yates press, at least tonight, the more impressive part to me was the pressure they applied away from the ball.  They, for the most part,  played a man to man trapping press.  Even when an opposing player didn't have the ball a Yates player was in his back pocket.  They had plenty of steals but caused more turnovers by sterling making bad passes.  Sterling had a good idea in trying to get someone breaking down court for a long pass  but they were mostly over or under thrown.  Even when they weren't Yates speed allowed them to catch up and make this pass more of a jump ball.  Yates speed also allowed them to catch and block a lot of Sterlings players on breaks. Even intimidating sterlings players from going up and shooting to pausing and thus getting in more trouble.  Yates isn't only getting its points of of breaks.  They have great vision knowing where each other is and hitting the open players for three's or drives.  they hit probably at least 7 threes that I can remember.  I was impressed with Young and Peters but really liked the play of their center Alex Davis he has good range hitting some shots from the top of the key and was a forse inside blocking shots and on the offensive end.  He looks like a promising recruit not sure where he is going.  After the first quarter,  Yates played the subs way more than the starters and in the second half they still pressed but it did not look near as fierce.  I left early in the fourth but just a few minutes into the third the starters  were sitting and did not return to start the final quarter so I can not say they kept trying to run up the score.  The only problem I can see that they could have would be a tight called game.  There were many fouls that could have been called tonight that weren't on either team.  Yates players are the agressors and nI was there to see them so I did see them pushing and getting away with a little that could be called against tham later on. If it wasn't for the press, they could be competed with.  A half court game would be the only game a good  team could play and have a chance with them.
22. Starters stay on bench for fourth.
23. 102-46 after three.
