1. This is a tough one. Travis has been real good in the lopsided games I have seen about playing the subs. This years team is not one that is going to blow out a lot of oponents just because of the type of game we play. However HF is one of those teams that we should blowout. It was quite physical at their place and I feel some of our players have a chip on their shoulder because of it. Add to that Hills return and I think the Tiger players will want to put on a show. So yes I think they will cover.
Now I remember,  I was at that game.  It wiill be a game I never forget for reasons outside of basketball. I was only 13.  I don't even remember where the game was played,  I can remember watching it though.
Game was played at Sam Houston, right in Huntsville's backyard.
I was thinking Huntsville but also had Livingston in mind for some reason.

Tip off BJ Tyler Dunk, LaBradford Smith right back down for a dunk. That set the tone for a good game between hated rivals.....We won the game and state.
bee85, I believe you are off a few years. Smith of Bay City graduated in '86. Bay City defeated a Silsbee led Darryl McArthur team that year in the regional semis then lost to Lincoln, who was led by Georgetown bound Anthony Allen, in the regional finals. Bay City defeated Silsbee in the regional finals in '85 and the regional semis in '84. Three straight years Silsbee lost to Bay City in the playoffs.
Who did we beat in the regional finals in '83? Lincoln?  I remember those four years as one of those three teams going to Austin.

Hopefully he won't be too rusty.
From what I have been hearing from the coaches, he is ready to go. Look for him to go off on Hamshire-Fannett Friday night on Senior Night.
Looking forward to that but mostly of course:next tuesday.
 6. A good game is a good game no matter if both teams are 25-0 or 0-25. Only problem with the latter is not many people would see it. :)

 9. No this week is going to be dismal.
 10. Way to go Eagles! It has been a while hasn't it?
 11. Was this a real physical game? Ours there was a rough one.
 12. Wow, are the Hawls looking ahead to their next 2?
 13. Big game for the Tigers. We struggled with OF at home. This is the Tigers last game without leading scorer Pheal Hill. Need a win tonight to leave themselves in the top position going into next weeks showdown in Sour Lake.
 14. It has been stated that Yates already has their warmup scheduled.
