2. I definately agree those aree costly and the Tigers do struggle scoring at times.  That is my worry more so than turnovers.  Yes I know turnovers are part of scoring troubles, but I am more concerned with the times we struggle shooting.  We score a lot of points off of offensive rebounds but we need a little more consistency outside to help our inside game.  With our advantage inside we just need to be able to keep teams from sagging so much on defense.
3. Yeah I have to agree it says game you have seen. I was only 2 in 72 so I can't say I remember seeing it. :)
4. I seem to remember a playoff game between the Tigers and Bees ,  where the Tigers were trailing by a good margin fairly late in the game.  Lincoln fans were singing going crazy but the Tigers came back and won.  Also even with all the great Tiger-HJ games,  the best game I have a good memory of has to be the double OT regional semi game with Crockett a couple of years ago.  Crockett knotting the game up at the end of the first OT with an inbounds pass the length of the court for a tying shot from the free throw line with lless than 2 seconds left.
5. If the Tigers continue to control the boards like they have then the number of turnovers may not matter.  Like has been said, I don't think it is the numbers but the points off turnovers that matter.  If the turnovers lead to easy fast break points, then there will be trouble.  However if they just lead to a change in possesion,  then controlling the boards should offset the turnovers.
6. Wow was not expecting it to be this lopsided.

8. Tigers were up 9-0 with less than a minute left in first WOS scored a quick 5 to end 9-5.

They are built for full-court and up-tempo play. This team wont lose if they keep playing like this.
Yates may not bebuilt for size but with 9 out of 15 players listed at 6'2 or better and 4 of those 6'5-6'9 I would think they are one of the bigger teams in the state as well.
i'd have to say you're right :)
I was just pointing out this team could beat you with the smaller guys on the roster.  ;)
OK, but this thread was never about us being able to beat them.  I can not see that happening.

12. I was never even trying to imply the Tigers could play with them.I don't even think that is a good debate.  Our guard play is.not strong enough. I just wondered with all that has been said about how big we are how our size compares with a larger school as good as Yates.
13. Definately, I am just wondering about their size.
14. Just curious a lot has been said about Silsbee's size this year. Not in any way trying to say the tigers could play with Yates,  but I am wondering how big Yates starting 5 are.
15. I am not sure if they are friends. Some of their actions last night looked like friends giving each other a hard time other times wasn't so sure. After the game they hugged it wasn't just a hand slap.
16. Is this the taller player with longer dark hair. He made several good drives to the basket in the JV game.
