1. Good win for the Tigers over a tough HJ team. I can't wait to see the stats. I would like to know how many shots Sutherland got off. We always had someone there as soon as he got the ball. DC and Jones had big games. Has to be the best game I have seen Kendrick play this year.
2. Being a Tiger fan I know never count out the Hawks.
3. Great JV game. Getting amped up in here. Hawks take it.
4. I am in my seat and I feel like a sardine. The den is about full.

6. Hard to make a prediction. HJ gets its energy from Turner if he is limited like last night it will be the Tigers game to take. The Tigers get a lot of there energy from Hill, without them they need good games from Lane and Stallworth and at least some help from one more guard. If they don't get this the Hawks should win.
7. Tough one.

10. I don't think so the Tigers had to sit Thomas about midway in the second and Jones sat out most of third and fourth and still fouled out. There were some questionable calls both ways but I didn't see either team to be the benefactor.
11.
I agree that it will be a tough 5 games to have to play without Hill, but I have all the confidence in the world in the other Tiger players to be able and step up and take care of business until Pheal comes back. Silsbee got a taste of it tonight and I think the players and the coaching staff will be prepared for the remainder of the district schedule, with or without Hill. The Tigers have had to play a few games already this year minus a star player or two and have come out victorious. Silsbee did not have Hill and Harris for the New Waverly game, won that one. They also did not have Stallworth for the second half of the West Brook game and for the all of the Kelly and Spurger games, and still won those games. Stallworth's first game back was the district opener against WOS and his minutes were limited. Tigers won that @ WOS by 25. Again, Silsbee has the team to overcome the loss of a player or two for a small amount of time. Hill will be back for the last 2 district games and then the playoffs. In the mean time, the Tigers will do their best without him. I do admit though, the HJ game at home just got a lot tougher.
Could not have said it better.  It is just a shame it had to happen.
12.

Losing Hill is like HJ losing Turner Just imagine if you are HJ and you had to play Silsbee without Turner ???
If its for the 6 weeks then he should be back for the play-offs, eh?  This will give his backups a chance to step up.  This may not be a total loss in the long run.  For instance, I saw some improvement in Will Anderson's play after Ricossa went down.  This benefits HJ now when Ricossa takes a breather. No, if Hill comes back, this is certainly not a show-stopper.
I believe it will be three weeks.
13. Pheal will definitely be missed.  I think the biggest part of that will be his ability to take the ball to the hole.  Yes his quickness will be missed greatly on defense but I have been impressed with Gaines defense,  maybe not as good as Hills but he still does a pretty good job and is fairly quick himself.  I do believe Turner would be a tougher loss for the Hawks, just because I am not sure that they would have a player on the bench that could come close to his speed and defense.  He and Pheal bring some of the same type of athletic qualities,  I just don't know if H-J has anyone similar to replace Turner with. That is not a knock at H-J,  just a compliment on Turners athleticism.
14. The Tiger's will need big contributions fro Gaines and Barrett in the H-J game.  Hills quickness will be a big loss.
15. Wow looks like the Tigers are in trouble next week. Especially if they don't get out of the slump they have been in the last 2 halves. Heck right now we are in trouble tonight!
16. Well, Hayes is back.
17. Without Hill these predictions should have changed before the game. Now with Hayes injured who knows.
18. Hawks by 25-30.
19. Don't the Hawks have a game tomorrow night that you should be worried about first? :) :)  With that said the Hawks should take this one at home by 20+. The Mustangs have trouble with the press and the big man gets in foul trouble easily.
20. I can't believe its the day before this game and its not even being discussed.  After the Tigers second half Tuesday,  I am wondering how they will perform tomorrow night. As well as after Orangefields game against H-J,  I wonder if they can keep up the good performance and hang with the Tigers.  I expect to see a better game from the Tigers and a 25 point victory.
21. I have not said a word on this subject but after reading about the latest I find Yates acts completely classless.  If you can't score a 100 in a particular game due to the way the other team is playing so be it.  Leading by thirty with a few minutes to go and fouling to score 100 is absolutely ridiculous.  You can try to justify it any way you like but any high shool or college coach(I feel pros are paid so it is their job to prevent a team from running up the score) that does this will never get the respect he feels he deserves from his peers. And for that matter most fans, even though I am sure the fans respect does not matter. If I was an opposing coach going against Yates,  my game plan from the start of the game would be 4 corners, no shot other than layups.  Make Yates steal the ball to score their points.  It is obvious no one can run with them so frustrate them the entire game.  Sure you probably wouldn't beat them but you may prevent them from making another "statement."
