My problem with this rule is the freak bucks that you want to take out of the herd before reproducing.  A few years ago I killed a buck whose horns went basically straight up only 8" spread maybe.  It was a very weird 11pt had two or what I would consider main beams on one side with a lot of junk points and one little part that looked like one side of a regular six point.  At the time it was the biggest deer I had seen on this stand horn wise but would now be illegal. It did need to be taken out of the herd.

The D1 playoff matchups are simple if Huffman gets in they face Silsbee if not Cleveland faces the Tigers. If ClevelAand goes d2 they will face BC as they should end up in 3rd.

They will face the Silsbee Tigers for the second year in a row.

Yes that is the concern: guard play and outside shooting.  And getting the posts to play up to their size.

Ican't argue with that. Not sure what anyone else has in the state but this 3a region is gonna be tough but looking at the Tiger's size this year they shouldn't have any trouble matching up with any 3a team sizewise.

What area teams, if any, do you feel have a good chance to win state this year?  I would feel that Kountze has the best shot.  I believe the Tigers definately have the size to compete with anyone just not sure yet about having enough of an outside game.  Too many good AAA teams in our region to survive without both I am afraid.
